考点1　imagine的用法
1.imagine作动词,意为“想象,设想”。常见用法:imagine sb.doing sth.“想象某人做某事”;imagine doing sth.“想象做某事”;imagine+that/what...“想象……”。
2.I imagine表示“我认为”,后跟that引导的宾语从句,that可省略。与I imagine类似的说法还有I think,I guess,I believe等。例如:
I imagine you will be happy when you hear this news.我想当你听到这个消息时,你会很高兴。
考点2　trouble的用法
　　trouble意为“问题;烦恼;困难”,通常用作不可数名词。常见用法:
1.get into trouble意为“陷入困境”;have trouble with sb.意为“与某人不和”;have trouble (in) doing sth.意为“做某事有困难”,其中介词in通常可省略。
2.“What’s the trouble with...?”意为“……怎么了?”,通常用来询问“出了什么事或发生了什么事故”。例如:
—What’s the trouble with you,Peter?彼得,你怎么了?
—My arm hurts.我胳膊受伤了。
考点3　harmful的用法
1.be harmful to意为“对……有害”。harmful的名词形式是harm,常构成短语do harm to sb.=do sb.harm,意为“对某人有害”。
2.harmful的反义词是harmless,意为“无害的”。例如:
This kind of thing is harmless.Don’t throw it away.这种东西无害。不要扔了它。
考点4　warn的用法

例如:
The doctor warned me about the dangers of smoking.医生提醒我吸烟有害。
He warned me not to be late. 他提醒我不要迟到。
考点5　keep的用法

例如:
Please keep these things for me while I am away.在我离开期间,请替我保管这些东西。
I used to keep sheep in my childhood.我在孩提时养过羊。
