I overnighted these customs to Minnesota and Ryan surprised her at work earlier today with not only these shoes but some other surprises as well. Ace, I want to thank you again for being awesome.

Tea originated in China over two thousand years ago. Today, the country owns over 2,000 varieties of tea, differing in taste, sweet and purpose. Some teas, such as Huang Shan, refresh the sense of taste with their special flavour, while others, such as spicy chai, are added with spices(香料).
China first started exporting tea during the Ming dynasty (1368 —1644), and the drink has since come to lead humanity’s drinking habits far beyond Asia. It is the most widely consumed drink on Earth today, aside from water and coffee.
In Chinese mythology, tea was first discovered by Chinese Emperor Shennong (“Divine Farmer”) in 737 BC, when a soft wind carried some leaves into a pot of boiling water. However, the oldest dependable evidence comes from ancient plant remains found in 2016 in Xi’an and western Tibet, showing that tea was grown at least 2,100 years ago during the Western Han dynasty when it was most likely used as medicine.
Generation after generation of tea makers experimented with different brewing (冲泡) techniques , leaves , and ceremonies , resulting in today’s tea culture full of life. There’s no doubt that China’s tea culture has become one of the most popular, diverse , and unique traditions in the world.
China is already the world’s largest tea exporter. The inclusion of the country’s traditional tea-making process on the UNESCO list will obviously generate practical benefits for tea makers in the country and across the world as more resources are given to protect and preserve such millennia-old tea culture and technical practices. As additional attention is brought to this traditional technique, the Chinese tea sector will further tap its potential and improve its growth.
As one of China’s oldest cultural practices , traditional tea processing techniques show the spirit of modesty(谦逊), peace, and comity((礼让). No matter your preference for green or dark tea, with milk or without, Chinese tea isn’t just brews. Instead, it is a bridge connecting different cultures and peoples.

30、How does the author find about Chinese tea?
A. Hopeful. B. Objective. C. Careless. D. Disapproving.
31、What is the best tittle for the text?
A. Chinese Tea Benefits the Globe a Lot

Two far-off planets are likely made of water, according to NASA’s research. They’re “unlike any planets found in our solar system”.
The system they studied is called Kepler-138 because it’s located within the field of vision of NASA’s Kepler spacecraft. Researchers have known about the existence of three outer planets within the Kepler-138 system, but have only just discovered two of them are likely made out of water.
They also discovered evidence for a fourth planet that hadn’t been described before. But the finding isn’t as clear as it might seem. The scientists didn’t directly discover water at planets Kepler-138c and Kepler-138d. Instead, they compared the sizes and masses of the planets to models for comparison. When doing so & they found that “up to half of their volume(体积) should be made of materials that are lighter than rock, but heavier than hydrogen or helium(氦) ”.
“We previously thought that planets that were a bit larger than Earth were big balls of metal and rock,” said Bjorn Benneke, the study’s co-author. “However, we have now shown that these two planets, Kepler-138c and d, are quite different in nature and that a big part of their entire volume is likely made up of water.”
The high temperatures on these planets mean they might be enveloped in an atmosphere of steam, according to NASA. “The temperature in Kepler-138d’s atmosphere is likely above the boiling point of water, and we expect a thick atmosphere made of steam on this planet,” Bjorn said. “Only, under that steam atmosphere there could possibly be liquid water at high pressure. ‘
The “water worlds” are outside their star’s habitable place—the area in which temperatures allow liquid water on the surface of a rocky planet, possibly supporting life. But the new planet described by the researchers, Kepler 138-e, does fall into that just-right area, according to the research.
32、What does the author intend to do in Paragraph 2?
A. Add some background information.
B. Summarize the previous paragraphs.
C. Provide some advice for the readers.
D. Introduce a new topic for discussion.
33、What do we know about Kepler-138d from the text?
A. It is a little smaller than Earth.
B. It is heavier than a rock.
C. It is like a planet in the solar system.
D. It likely has high-pressure liquid water.
34、Which of the following may exist life according to the text?
A. Kepler-138c. B. Kepler-138d. C. Kepler-138e. D. A fourth planet.
35、How does the author support the theme of the text?
A. By using examples. B. By stating study results.
C. By describing processes. D. By making comparisons.

Sometimes, life just throws a huge curve ball at you, and you have to deal with it. For this girl, she kept going even though that curve ball took away most of her.
Kate, 17, was riding home from Bear Lake with her families when they were hit by a truck. It was not a very serious traffic accident. It was just a crash without causing any deaths. But it brought misfortune to Kate. She suffered the worst out of anyone in the car. In other words, she was the worst injured in her family.
Kate was badly injured from the waist down. There was no blood flow in her legs, and things weren’t looking good. She needed both legs amputated(截肢) above the knee and spent two months in the hospital. At that age, most of her classmates would be getting ready for college. But fate wasn’t so kind to her.
It was not easy to get back on track after such a misfortune, but life was still worth living on. At this time, Kate knew that she must encourage herself to be even stronger and fight with every challenge more bravely than before. She had to gain more confidence to shoulder the burden that nobody in her age had ever faced.
She was a cheerleader(啦啦队队员) at school, after all. She knew better than anyone that some encouragement and hard work can really make a difference. As a to-be adult, she also showed her uncertainty about her own future. She sometimes asked her mum whether she would ever drive or swim again. Her mother answered yes to everything she asked.
However, one thing was for sure: Kate would need a wheelchair for the rest of her life. What would you do if you had to live on a wheelchair? What would you do if you wanted to return to your stage? Luckily, Kate didn’t feel or do as you did.
注意:
1.续写词数应为150左右;
2.请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。
Kate had to relearn how to live on a wheelchair.

解析:A Russian man named Ham has always been interested in constructing things out of glass bottles. Not long ago, he built a unique house which was built almost entirely of wine bottles.
His children had always admired his work. They encouraged him to build a house someday.
But he always thought it was impossible. When Ham lost his second son, who passed away at the age of 18, he finally decided to build the house in the boy’s memory. So he started the search for suitable materials. To construct the 99-square-metre house, Ham spent about three years collecting over 12, 000 empty bottles. Ham believes that the house is quite strong and expected to stand for at least 100 years! In fact, he has built it in such away that if some of the bottles break, they can easily be replaced. More interestingly, the house cost five times less than it would cost to build a house with regular materials. But Ham says he wasn’t thinking about the money. He just wanted to build the house in the way his son wanted. Ham gave away his piece of work to his eldest son as a wedding present. His daughter-in-law is quite proud of the house, and says she can’t wait to decorate it.
