【学习目标】
a.知识目标:能听懂并说出单词:grandparents, old, young, then, beautiful 和功能句:They weren’t old then. They were very young. My hair wasn’t long then. It was very short.
b.语言技能目标:能灵活运用功能句,并能说明某人或某物过去的特征与状态,比较现在和过去
【学习重难点】
重点:能在实际中运用一般过去时描述人或事物的特征与状态,比较现在和过去。
难点:能准确的读出“wasn’t, weren’t”并能正确的运用。
【学习过程】
Step 1 Warm up
1.Greeting:
T: Good morning,boys and girls!
2.做动作说反义词,复习巩固学过的形容词Antonym
big-–small, good- bad, happy-sad, fat-thin, short- long/ tall
T: First let’s play a game. Do and say.
3.出示图片,运用形容词。
T:Here is a picture. Guess! Who is he? 出示姚明小时候照片
S: Yang Ming.
T: Yes, He was short then. But now he is tall.出示姚明现在照片。学习单词then.
T:Look! What are they?
S: They are chickens.
T: But then they were eggs.
Read the four sentences together. Point to “now” and “then”. Were.
T: Follow me! 教读Was were.
Step 2 Presentation and practice
1.a.T:出示Lingling 照片 Who is she? (学习单词who)
Ss: Lingling.
T: What was she like then? Let’s see! Open your books at page 26. Listen, point and circle “was”, “were”
b.T: What are they talking about?
Ss: Lingling 和grandparents 变化。(学习单词grandparents. Grandpa and grandma are grandparents.)
T: What was Lingling then?
Ss: She was naughty. She was cute. Her hair was short.
T: What were grandparents like then?
S: They were very young. They weren’t old then. (学习单词young old.加上动作)反复练习目标语句。
c.Listen and repeat. 重点指导weren’t wasn’t发音,wasn’t = wasn’t weren’t =were not.
d.Read the text in pairs. Then choose “T” or “ F” 出示练习。
1.Lingling’s grandparents were very young.
2.Lingling was two then.
3.Lingling’s hair was long then.
4.Lingling wasn’t naughty then.
指名读句子,并回答。
Step 3.Practice
1.Everything always changes. Look at the girl.出示几组对比图片,请学生用目标语句描述。
2.Read and choose.
