设计说明
本课时先是带领学生复习上一节课所学的重要短语, 然后利用图片导入本节课。通过谈论自己高兴或者悲伤的一些经历, 为接下来的写作练习做好准备。结合学情, 给学生进行写作指导和写作思路上的点拨, 帮助他们排除写作上的障碍。通过词语填空练习, 检验学生对重点词语的掌握情况。通过用所给词语写句子的练习, 让学生能够正确运用使役动词make。最后, 通过给事物排序练习, 让学生懂得生活中哪些事物对自己来说是真正重要的, 通过对这些事物的描述, 知道这些事物对人们的生活及情感产生的影响, 从而学会调节自己的情绪。
教学目标
通过本课时的教学, 让学生达成以下目标:
1. 知识目标
(1) 复习本单元的单词、短语及动词make的用法。
(2) 完成Self Check的练习题; 学会写有关事物对人们的影响的短文。
2. 能力目标
(1) 能运用所学语言写有关事物对人们的影响的短文。
(2) 能运用动词make和部分形容词描述自己或他人的情绪。
3. 情感目标
学会调节自己的情绪, 用轻松、乐观、愉快的心情对待生活。

Step 1 Revision
Review the useful expressions. Ask the students to read together and remember them.

1. Work on 3a. Think of some experiences that made you feel very happy or sad.
Tell your partner about them. Use the following ideas to help you.

·getting good/bad grades on an exam
·performing something well/badly in front of a big group of people
·getting into a fight with your best friend
·your first trip outside your hometown
e. g.
A: Losing a competition always makes me sad.
B: Winning a competition always makes me happy.
A: Getting good grades makes me happy.
B: Getting bad grades makes me sad.
2. Work on 3b. Write a story similar to the one in 2b using your notes in 3a.
In your story, try to explain the following:
·What happened?
·When did it happen?
·Where did it happen?
·How did it make you feel? Why?
·What did you learn from the experience?
