3. Explain Grammar Focus and try to make Ss understand the passive voice of the past tense.

解释一般过去时被动语态的陈述句、否定句、特殊疑问句、一般疑问句以及肯定否定回答。接着出示Grammar Focus，后练习各种句型变化。让学生总结该用法。

1. Ask Ss to read the sentences in 4a, then rewrite them using the passive voice. Check answers in class and make Ss read the sentences.

2. Make Ss read the words in the box first and complete the sentences with the correct forms of the verbs. Check answers in class and make Ss read the sentences.

利用所学的被动语态用法，完成4a和4b并阅读这些句子， 熟练掌握用法。

1. Ask Ss to read the passage first then fill in blanks.

Decide whether active or passive forms should be used in these sentences. Write the correct forms in the blanks.

4. Work in pairs. Make Ss look at the pictures and make conversations about them. Then call some pairs to present in class.
