Step 2 Pre-reading (PPT 8-14)		Fast reading Make Ss listen to the tape then read the passage. Think of the two questions in 3a then answer. What two things did Kang Jian want to buy in America? Step 3 While-reading (PPT 15-25)		Careful reading. Make Ss read the passage carefully and finish the following tasks. Read Paragraph 1 and fill in the blanks.
