Key vocabulary: fridge, low, somebody,translate, lock, ring, earthquake, sudden, bell, biscuit, cookie, musical, instrument...at a low voice, advise sb. not to do, translate... into, all of sudden, break the rule, work on...2. Key sentences: a. When was the zipper invented?b. Who was it invented by?c. When was tea brought to Korea?d. What is the hot ice-cream scoop used for?3. Structure:S+was/were+past participle…教学难点:How to turn the active voice into the passive voice.教学过程(表格描述)教学环节主要教学活动设置意图Step 1Lead-in(PPT 3-7)Review the passive voice and analysis it. Change the sentences into different patterns.复习上节课所学被动语态的句子, 导入本课时的语法。Step 2Presentation(PPT 8-14) 1. Ask Ss to read the sentences in Grammar Focus. 2. Show the structure of the passive voice of the past tense. 3. Explain Grammar Focus and try to make Ss understand the passive voice of the past tense. 4. Make Ss match the questions with the answers.5. Explain the ways to change the active voice into the passive voice. 解释一般过去时被动语态的陈述句、否定句、特殊疑问句、一般疑问句以及肯定否定回答。接着出示Grammar Focus,后练习各种句型变化。让学生总结该用法。Step 3Practice (PPT 15-18)Work on 4a,4b. 1. Ask Ss to read the sentences in 4a, then rewrite them using the passive voice. Check answers in class and make Ss read the sentences.2. Make Ss read the words in the box first and complete the sentences with the correct forms of the verbs. Check answers in class and make Ss read the sentences.利用所学的被动语态用法,完成4a和4b并阅读这些句子, 熟练掌握用法。Step 4Pair work (PPT 19-24)Work on 4c. 1. Ask Ss to read the passage first then fill in blanks.Decide whether active or passive forms should be used in these sentences. Write the correct forms in the blanks.2. Check answers in class then make Ss read the passage.3. Work in pairs. Make Ss look at the pictures and make conversations about them. Then call some pairs to present in class.学习语法后, 设计一个分角色表演的对话,学生通过口语练习进一步巩固一般过去时被动语态的用法。Step 5 Language points (PPT 25-26) Explain the usage of all of a sudden and luckily.重点讲解all of a sudden和luckily的用法。Step 6Exercises (PPT 27-33)Show some exercises for Ss to practice the key words, the target language and key sentences. 通过单选、词型填空、句型转换、综合填空等形式练习一般过去时被动语态。Step 7中考链接(PPT 34) Practice the usage of was/were+ved.精选中考题练习was/were+ved 的用法。Step 8Homework(PPT 35)1. Write a dialog about their things using the passive voice.2. Finish off the exercises on the text book.3.
