Althugh he is ver 65, he is very fit and still enjys wrking. 虽然他已经超过65岁了，但他还很健康，仍然热爱工作。
althugh的意思相当于thugh，意为“虽然；尽管”，用于引导让步状语从句。它所引导的从句不能与并列连词but，and，s等连用，但可以和yet，still等词连用。如：Althugh Princetn has a wrld-famus university, it is still a quiet small twn. 普林斯顿虽然有一所世界闻名的大学，但它仍然是个安静的小镇。
1. 用作连词：表示“虽然”，两者大致同义，可换用，只是althugh比thugh更为正式。如：Thugh/Althugh we are pr, we are still happy. 我们虽然穷，但仍然很快乐。
2. 用作副词：althugh 不可用作副词，而 thugh 可用作副词，且一般只放在句末，意为“可是；不过”。如：It’s hard wrk， I enjy it thugh. 工作很辛苦，可是我乐在其中。He is lking fit, thugh. 但他看起来很健康。Yu can cunt n him, thugh. 不过你可以依靠他。
3. 用于固定短语中：在 as thugh(好像；仿佛)，even thugh(即使；纵然)等固定短语中不能用 althugh。如：She clsed her eyes as thugh she were tired. 她闭上眼睛，仿佛很疲惫似的。I must say that he is an hnest man, even thugh I have ppsed him. 尽管我反对过他，但我还是得说他是一个诚实的人。
4. 用于倒装句中：thugh 引导的让步状语从句可用部分倒装的形式(注意：倒装后位于句首的名词之前不用冠词)，但 althugh 一般不这样用。如：Pr thugh I am, I can affrd it. 我虽穷，但这件东西还是买得起的。Child thugh he was, he did quite well. 他虽是孩子，但做得很好。

n mre意为“不再；再也不”。如：Time lst will return n mre. 时光一去不复返。
1. 意义区别：(1)n mre着重表示数量或程度的减少，意为“再也没有更多(大)的数量或程度”。n mre可用nt … any mre代替。它们可用作限定词，也可用作副词。用作限定词时，用来谈论曾经在的某物现在已经不在了，一般放在名词前面。如：
I will ask n mre questins. =I wn’t ask any mre questin. 我不会再问问题了。I can eat n mre. =I can’t eat any mre. 我不能再吃了。(2)n lnger着重表示时间的不再延续，意为“如今不再”。n lnger可用nt … any lnger代替。它们一般只用作副词。如：He is n lnger at schl. =He isn’t at schl any lnger. 他不再上学了。
2. 作副词时的用法区别：(1)n mre / nt … any mre一般修饰终止性动词，表示动作发生的次数、频率不再延续。此时n mre一般位于行为动词之后。如：We saw him n mre. =We didn’t see him any mre. 我们再也没有看见他了。
(2)n lnger / nt … any lnger一般修饰延续性动词，表示动作、状态或时间不再延续。此时n lnger一般位于行为动词之前，be动词之后。如：Annie n lnger lives here. =Annie desn’t live here any lnger. 安妮不住这儿了。
