Then her beautiful face smiled lvingly at me.She tld me it was a beautiful dress. I knw that the ld and the yung d nt always share the same tastes and I was happy that she liked it. All the hurs f sewing were wrth it when I saw the lk f jy n her face. It was a few days later that I learnt the truth. I was passing Anne's bedrm when I heard her talking n the phne. “My grandma gave me this very pink dress," she said.“I really appreciate it but I dn't think I'll ever be wearing it. I mean, wh wears pink these days?" I std there in awkward silence. Then I walked away,pretending nt t have heard anything.Hwever,I felt cheated and it really depressed me.
