教材分析:本课为新标准小学英语五年级下册Module1 Unit1的主要课文内容。本课中所学习的重点是描述人物过去和现在职业活动的变化。其中职业名词基本都是学生所学过的,没有太大的难度,was, is 的使用也是之前学过的,本课作为五年级下学期开学的第一课,主要是在语言上进一步强化练习一般过去式,并对一般现在时进行复习,希望学生能在学习中进行比较,了解两者的区别。
学情分析:五年级学生已经有了一定的英语基础,不会像低段的孩子一样兴趣那么浓厚,但是五年级学生在表达自己的意见、见解上可以表达的比较好,对于语篇的理解能力也比较强。
教学目标:
语言知识目标:1. 所有学生能听懂、认读、本课3个词汇短语:drive, drove, flute player. 2. 学生正确运用She was a driver before. She is a …now.来描述人物职业的变化。
技能目标:1.全体学生能听、说:She was a driver before. What did she drive? She drove a bus.2. 全体学生能朗读课文,阅读相关短文。3. 全体学生能写出2-3个句子,介绍别人的职业。
情感态度目标:通过本课的学习,从职业的变化上来讨论自己的梦想职业是什么,并且告诉学生不管从事什么职业,都要不断努力,永远不放弃自己的梦想。
教学重点:1.掌握生词drive, drove, player以及She/he was a…before.和She/he is a…now.句式。2. 理解课文内容并能准确流利地朗读。3. 能自己通过所学的内容来描述别人职业在过去和现在的变化。
教学难点:五年级学生学过的职业名词有限,对于某些更加具体的职业进行描述有困难,比如电信公司职员,总经理、公务员等等,课前老师可先请学生进行查阅来了解更多的职业。
教学准备:希沃白板课件、单词卡片、人物头饰、评价教具
教学过程:
一、热身导入:
1. Greetings T: Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning, Ms. Liu.
2.Free talk Today we are going to learn Module one unit one. Let’s read the title.
This unit is about jobs. First, let’s have a revision. Can you say these jobs?“What is he? …….”
What do you want to be in the future?
( 通过游戏复习职业,引入话题)
二、任务新授:活动一
- 导入新授:
T: You can say of jobs very well. Look at this picture. What can you see? Ss: I can see a doctor…..
T: Yes, this boy is introducing his family. Watch and listen !
- 学生看、听活动一,并回答问题:
His father is a … His mother is a …
T:Good, let’s repeat. 学生跟读。
Let’s chant together..
3.示范、练习、展示反馈:
T:Would you like to tell us your family in this way? 找一名学生示范。
T: Well done! Now please make your own verses and practice in pairs.
学生小组练习,并展示
二、 任务新授:活动二
1.引入主题
T :Lingling is holding some pictures and she is talking about her family. For this part, we’ll have two tasks: Task 1: Watch the video and answer the questions.
2. 学生听、看视频——回答问题——反馈答案并学习本课新单词dirve,drove,player, 完成任务一。
3. 跟读、练习歌曲完成任务二:用自己的话介绍玲玲的爷爷奶奶。
T: Great, you did an excellent job . Let’s move on to task two.
First, point to you books and read after the video. 听音跟读一遍。
T: Is lingling good at music? Are you good at music? Let’s try a song. You are all good singers.
After singing the song. I think you can introduce Grandma and grandpa with the help of the key works.
4.检查、反馈:
带领孩子复述课文内容。
检查学生个体的复述情况。
三、 实践应用
T: Your introduction about grandma and grandpa is pretty good. Can you introduce these people and talk about their “before and now”
带领孩子回答问题。明确过去式和一般现在时动词三单的用法。
T: When we talk about before we should use the past forms of verbs. When we talk about now and meet third person singulars we should use singular form of the verbs. Such like is does, and We add s or es at the end of the verb.
Ok! Choose one picture and talk with your partners.
学生选择图片应用所学进行实践应用,讨论图片中人物的过去和现在,并展示讨论进行反馈。
四、 课堂拓展
T: Some of you has prepared to introduce someone they like. Let them show.
学生运用所学展示自己的家人、迈克·乔丹和郎平的过去现在。
五:课堂总结:
T: Let’s see what we have learnt today. Today we have talked about job and our family. We know lingling’s grandma was…….We learnt how to talk about “before” and “now” .
六、课后作业
Homework:Make an introduction about your families or friends.
请介绍一下你的朋友或家人,说说他们的过去和现在!
