Recently, a digital protection project for traditional Chinese instrumental music was produced. The project was planned to revive(复兴)traditional music by using digital technology to restore(修复)and save the original audio sources(原始音频资源). Based on these sources, people can create digital albums(专辑), social media mini-programs and game background music. These are ways of spreading and passing down music.
The first traditional instrument to get this kind of rebirth was an ancient set of bianzhong of Zenghouyi. As the largest set of bianshong discovered in China, it needs many people to complete together during the play. This made it unique and difficult for the team members to start their work. To perfectly restore the sounds of it, the team members thought for a long time. And they tried many times, too. Yang Jie, a designer from the team, said, “At first, we tried to find the right place to put the recording microphone after reading a lot of papers and historical information. We didn’t realize how hard this job was until we were on the scene.”
To find out how and where to place the recording microphone, the team got help from live recording technology with different formats(格式)from different locations. In this way, they were finally able to collect 613 sounds in total.
So far, they’ve used the bianzhong sounds in a new album. It includes 9 songs which can make your heart warm with traditional Chinese music.

In a video, someone cuts open a coconut(椰子), pours its juice and takes away meat in about five seconds. What does it take to master a skill like that?
Many people see it as a rule that says, “Just spend a lot of time practicing.” 24 Many studies have shown that to improve our skills, we cannot just practice, but must use “deliberate(刻意的) practice”.
So what is deliberate practice? Imagine you want to become a professional violin player. You can already play some great pieces. Do you get better by only playing those same pieces over and over again? Or do you try to learn new songs? 25 “Deliberate practice” is different from “common practice”. It requires feedback(反馈) and constant(不断的) challenges to yourself.
26 Teachers can find mistakes and make corrections. But they cannot be there for us every step of the way. So we must be able to provide our own feedback and learn from our own mistakes. 27 If you are a runner who can run 100 meters in 12 seconds, you can try to achieve the same success in 11 seconds or even 10 seconds. Even if you are already the best in the world at something, your goals to challenge yourself and do better should never disappear.
“Professional” coconut openers can complete their tasks in five seconds. 28 The only difference between them is that professional openers make efforts to constantly improve themselves, while others are just continuing to “practice”.
A.But it is not the real reason.
B.Constant challenges are pretty easy.
C.They offer us something that we need.
D.There are others who take much longer.
E.Do you also record yourself and listen for mistakes?
F.Feedback commonly comes from teachers and ourselves.

六、阅读回答问题
请阅读下面的非连续性文本,根据语篇内容,回答问题,并将答案写在答题卡相应的位置上。
Most of us compare ourselves with others. Comparisons can help to make decisions and make us active. According to a study, 12% of our daily thoughts have something to do with making comparisons.
Why is it so easy to compare yourself with others?
Whether it’s the number of goals you’ve scored at football or how many books you’ve read, it’s easy to compare yourself with someone else. Scientists say it’s a natural behavior. Humans live in a circle and do something in common, but they act differently and get the results more or less. Although comparing can be good for you, it’s not always helpful and you can find yourself stuck in a comparison trap(陷阱). This is when you always compare yourself with others and base(建立)your feelings on how well they seem to be doing.
Can comparisons be good for you?
Comparisons can make us feel good and bad about ourselves. “Comparing up” means seeing someone do better than you and using that to inspire(激励)yourself to make higher goals and try harder. “Comparing down” is when you see someone who doesn’t seem to be doing as well as you. It can stop you from wanting to improve.
Get out of the comparison trap.
Notice how people make you feel and spend time with friends who celebrate your strengths rather than compare themselves with you. If you follow social media accounts(账号)that, make you feel you are failing in any way, stop following them. The best person you can compete with is yourself. Here are some tips for making healthy comparisons.
May, 14
The England Women’s team has great football skills. They train more than that I can imagine. Watching their games made me think I could play like that one day, too.
(Chart I)
Tip 1 Try to be your best.
Never try to be the best one in the world. Be yourself. Value your achievements instead of someone else’s.
Tip ▲
To celebrate the final result is meaningless. Progress is more important.
Tip 3 Set some goals.
Instead of saying “I can’t do it”, say “I can do it”.
(Chart II)
34.What does the study result in the first paragraph show?
35.Why do scientists think it’s natural to compare with others?
36.Which kind of comparison does May’s idea belong to? What does it mean?
37.Who should we stay with to get out of the comparison trap?
38.What’s the best subtitle(小标题)of Tip 2?

A group of old people were singing Jin Opera there. I found it interesting, so I filmed a short video and put it online. To my surprise, the next day, there were many comments.
