    Module 6 ProblemsUnit 3 Language in use-1 教学目标1. 复习本模块的单词和重点短语。2. 复习归纳if引导的条件状语从句及主从句的时态。二、教学重点及难点重点:1. 复习本模块的单词和重点短语。      2. 复习归纳if引导的条件状语从句及主从句的时态。难点:1. if引导的条件状语从句中主从句的时态。      2. 运用所学知识描述问题、给出建议。三、教学准备多媒体课件四、相关资源五、教学过程Step I Warm-up1. Look and say T shows a passage to Ss and ask them to read and find:Can you find some useful sentences to give advice? 2. Ss read and find the useful sentences.3. Finally T asks Ss to give some advice on different questions. Talk about your problems and give advice to each other.A: I can’t get along well with my classmates.…. B: You should do…  You shouldn’t do…  You’d better do…  If you …, you will …设计意图:通过谈论日常生活中的场景引入本课话题,引起学生学习的好奇心和兴趣。Step II Presentation1. T presents the sentences in Language practice and asks Ss to read and pay attention to the tenses used in the main clause and in if -clause. Grammar If 从句 (2)T presents the sentences in Language practice and asks Ss to observe them and pay special attention to the words in red and then sum up the rule. 2. Ss and T learn the grammar together. T sums up the rules about if-clause, giving some examples to help Ss understand and grasp its use.If 从句 (2)一、概念:     常见的if条件状语从句表示在某条件下,某事很可能发生。e.g.  If you ask him, he will help you.如果你请他帮忙,他会帮你的。      If he does not work hard, he will fail his exams.如果他不努力,考试就要不及格了。 二、If 从句的时态1. if从句用一般现在时,主句用一般将来时。 e.g. If he runs, he’ll get there in time.  如果他跑着去,他就会及时赶到那儿。2. if从句用一般现在时,主句用情态动词+动词原形。e.g. She may come with us if she arrives in time. 如果她来得及时,就可以和我们一道去。三、if 引导的条件状语从句位置 可直接放在主句后面,也可以放在句首。 放在句首时,从句后面要用逗号和主句隔开。e.g. I’ll go to see you if I have time. 如果有时间,我就去看你。    If it rains tomorrow, we’ll stay at home. 如果明天下雨,我们就待在家里。四、同义句转换“祈使句 and / or 一般将来时的句子”转换。e.g. If you work hard, you’ll pass the exam easily.    → Work hard, and you’ll pass the exam easily.    努力学习,你将很容易通过考试。设计意图:复习总结语法知识,为下面的练习做准备。Step III PracticeActivity 11. Ask Ss to rewrite the sentences with if, giving one example to follow:Listen in class, or you will not understand what to do.If you do not listen in class, you will not understand what to do.2. T sums up the grammar points, giving some examples to help Ss understand the rules. 设计意图:结合语法讲解,通过例题巩固加深对语法知识和规律的认识和理解。Activity 21. T: Do you have any problems in your schoolwork? Now think of three problems you have and make notes about them in the Problem boxes. 2. T: Now work in pairs. Talk about your problems and give advice to each other. Complete the table. An example is given: — I can’t speak English well.— If you practise more outside the classroom, you will make progress.设计意图:本活动让学生将自己的学习体验作为讨论内容,为学生运用条件状语从句提供了真实的语境,容易引起学生的共鸣,提高学生参与活动的积极性。Activity 3T: Now complete the sentences so that they are true for you.1. Ss do the task according to their true condition.2. Ss share the sentences and correct the mistakes. 设计意图:本活动要求学生根据所给语句,结合自身实际,运用条件状语从句补全句子,锻炼了学生的实际运用能力。Activity 4T: Complete the conversation with the correct form of the words and expression in the box.1. T asks Ss to read and go over the words in the box.2. Ask Ss to read the dialogue and fill in the blanks. 3. Read the dialogue and check the answers. 设计意图:本活动旨在培养学生在语境中运用所学单词的能力。Activity 5T: Complete the passages with the correct form of the expressions in the box.1.
