    能力目标

    学生能会认会读会听懂所授新单词

    be going to结构表达打算学什么科目和打算学会些什么

    be going to结构自由表达打算干些什么

    情感目标

    通过学习结构,使学生养成制订计划的习惯,也要使学生明白初中学习生活不但增加了新科目,而且还有很多值得学习的知识,因此,鼓励学生要勤奋学习,不断进步.

    【学习重点】

    新授词及句型

    Sentences:

    【学习难点】

    理解be going to结构表示打算做某事, be going to后面跟动词的原形,并由打算学习什么科目拓展到打算学会些什么.

    【学习过程】

    Step 1 Greetings

    Say “Hello” to them and introduce.

    Step 2 Warming up

    The teacher claps the hands and says the chant:

    Are you going to go to the sea   sea    sea

    Yes. I’m going to go to the sea   sea   sea

    When are you going to go to the sea  sea  sea

    Come with me  me   me

    Are you going to go to the zoo zoo  zoo

    Yes. I’m going to go to the zoo zoo  zoo

    When are you going to go to the zoo zoo  zoo

    Can we come too  too  too

    The pupils listen carefully, and they clap the hands and say the chant with the teacher.

    Step 3 Presentation

    The teacher reviews the old subjects in primary school with the pupils.

    The pupils read them together.

    The teacher shows the pictures and the words about the new subjects.

    The pupils read after the teacher

    Step 4 Make a chant

    The pupils say the chant about the subjects after the teacher.

    Step 5 Practice

    The teacher shows the pictures and the sentences in the screen

    First the teacher asks, the pupils answer

    Next, the boys ask, the girls answer

    Change, the girls ask, the boys answers.

    ----We’re /I’m going to study…

    Step 6 Talk

    The teacher makes a dialogue like this:

    T: Hello! What are you going to study in middle school?

    Ss: We’re /I’m going to study…

    The pupils work in pairs and act it out.

    Step 7 New sentences

    The teacher shows the new sentences and some pictures in screen.

    A: What are you going to learn in middle school?

    B: We’re /I’m going to learn to…

    The teacher asks and answers the questions one by one.

    Step 8 Phrases

    The pupils read the phrases after the teacher:

    work in pairs    work in groups       do experiments 

    do math problems    help each other    observe things  be polite to people    be kind to animals

    Step 9 Chant

    The pupils say the chant after the teacher twice. And then say the chant together

    Work,work,work in pairs. Work,work,work in pairs.

    Do,do,do maths problems. Do,do,do maths problems.

    Step 10 Let’s talk

    The teacher makes a dialogue like this;

    T: What are you going to learn in middle school?

    Ss: We’re /I’m going to learn to…

    The pupils work in pairs and act it out.

    Step 11 Video

    The pupils look at the questions about the video

    Question1: Where are they going to go in September?

    Question2: What are they going to study?

    Question3: What activities are they going to do?

    The pupils watch the video and answer the questions.

    Step 12 Look at the dialogue about the video in the screen.

    The boys and the girls make a dialogue.

    Step 13 Writing

    The teacher tells them information: “name, age, hobbies, activities”. And then make a model for them .something like this:

    I’m Mary .I’m 12 .My hobbies are reading books and playing computer games. I’m going to study Chemistry and History in middle school. I’m going to learn to help each other.

    The teacher lets some pupils read their writings.

    Step 14 Summary

    The teacher shows the new words, the phrases and sentences in the screen.
