    教学目标

    1.知识目标:能听、说单词plate;能根据实际情况用英语1-5;能熟练掌握句型“How many ...?”并能在实际情景中运用。

    2.能力目标:能用所学句型交流有关物品的数量。

    3.情感目标:教育学生要学会礼貌地表达自己的需求。

    教学重点

    熟练掌握询问物品数量的句型“How many ...?”并能正确作答。

    教学难点

    掌握how many后面要用可数名词的复数形式。

    教学准备

    道具、录音机、录音带、课件。

    话题讨论:如何过生日?Lead students to talk about the topic1.When is your birthday? 2. How do you celebrate your birthday?

    Ss: He has a birthday party.

    T: OK! That sounds good. If we have a birthday party, what do we need?

    Ss: ...(A birthday cake...)

    T: Yes, Sam and his mother are going to buy a birthday cake. Lets go and see.

           Presentation.(对话学习)

    1. Lets talk

    (1)教师展示Let's talk部分图片,提问引导学生预测对话内容。

    Let students look at the picture of “Let’s talk” carefully. Ask some questions to help them predict the main idea of the dialogue.

    T: Sam and his mother are at the baker’s. They want to buy a cake. How many cakes can you see?

    Ss: ...

    T: Yes. Let’s count together! One! Two! Three! Four!

    (2)教师播放Let's talk部分视频,学生根据视频回答问题。

    Play the video. (课件出示:教材P58 Let’s talk板块的视频) Let students watch and answer.

    T: Which one do they want?Let’s point it.

    Ss:...(Point to the third one)

    T: Yes,you are right. So how can we say, let’s have a look!

    (3)教授句型结构并进行操练 “—This one, please.”“—Sure.”Let students listen to the first part and explain the key sentences.

    -This one,please. -Sure. Explain the meaning and the usage of “sure”. And explain that “one” in the sentence “This one, please.” refers to the cake. Ask students to practice the sentence for several times.

    (4)教授句型结构并进行操练 “—How many plates?”“—Five.”Let students pay attention to the plate in the shop assistant’s hand.

    T: Look! What’s this?

    Ss: …

    T: It’s a plate. Pay attention to the pronunciation of “plate”. Read after me! /pl/-/eɪ/-/t/, /pleɪt/.

    Students follow the teacher to read.

    T: Look at Tom’s hand gesture! How many fingers?

    Ss: …

    T: Guess. What does the shop assistant say?

    Ss: “—How many plates?”“—Five.”

    Let students listen to the second part and explain the key sentences.

    Write down the word “five” on the blackboard. Lead students to practice it line by line.

    Write down the sentence structure “How many…?” on the blackboard and teach it.

    a. The teacher plays the cartoon. Ask students to watch the cartoon and read after it. Let students pay attention to the pronunciation and the intonation.

    b. Let students fill in the blanks by themselves.

    c. Let students practice the dialogue in groups of three, and then wear the headdresses to act out the dialogue.

           Practice.(单词/句型操练)

    1. Ask and answer

    呈现超市场景进行问答练习。Show the picture of the main scene and lead in the shopping time.

    T: Sam and his mother are going to the supermarket. Lets go and see.

    Show three apples in the shopping cart.

    T: Look! How many apples?

    Ss: Three!

    T:Then lets work in pairs.

    Boys: How many oranges?

    Girls: Four.

    Boys: How many bags?

    Girls: Two. 

    ... ....

    2. Count and say 

    讲解游戏规则后开始游戏。Show the picture of “Count and say”.

    T: It’s Sam’s birthday today. Look! There are many gifts. What can you see?

    Ss: Books./Balloons./Pencils./Cards./Crayons…

    T: How many cakes?

    Ss: One.

    T: Now, please ask and answer in pairs. You can ask and answer like this: -How many bears?-Two.

    Step 3 Consolidation&Extension

    激发学生的学习兴趣和提高学生的语言实际运用能力。

    Make a dialogue

    根据场景编对话。“Let’s go shopping.”

    Let students work in pairs.

    T: It’s Sam’s birthday. Let’s go to buy some gifts for him. OK?

    Ss: OK.

    T: One is the shop assistant. The other students are customers. You can make the dialogue like this:

    Step 4 Summary&Homework

     

    (1)小结: This one, please. Sure.

    —How many plates? —Five.

    OK. Here you are.
