    lessn n.课;一节课
    (1)class和lessn:①当表示“学校的课”时,class和lessn区别不大,美式英语中常用class,英式英语中常用lessn。例如:Classes start at 9 ’clck. (学校)九点开始上课。 (英式英语:Lessns start at 9 ’clck.)
    ②当表示“某种技能、技巧性的课程”时,常用lessn,较少用class。例如:pian lessns钢琴课,driving lessns驾驶课。③当表示“教材中的教学单元;课”时,常用lessn。class则还有“班;班级”的含义。例如:Nw, Class, please pen yur bks t Lessn 9. 同学们,现在请打开书,翻到第九课。
    lessn作名词,还可意为“经验、教训”,常构成短语teach sb. a lessn“给某人一个教训”。
    “fr + 一段时间”用来表示某个动作或某个状态持续的时间,在句中作时间状语。I have a class/lessn fr 45 minutes at schl. What abut yu? 我们学校一节课四十五分钟。你们(学校)呢?
