教学目标： At the end of the class, the students will be able to: 1. learn the new words and expressions about future life. 2. learn to listen for specific information. 3. describe personal life in the future with the simple future tense.
教学重点： 1. Key vocabulary: apartment, space, astronaut, rocket... space station, fly rockets to the moon, take the train to school... 2. Key sentences: a. I live in an apartment across the street from here. b. I will fly rockets to the moon. c. I will live on a space station. d. I will be an astronaut.
教学难点： Learn to describe personal life in the future using the simple future tense.

Step1 Warming-up (PPT 3-6)		1.Make Ss have a discussion about the future life with the following sentences: What will the world be like? What will the earth be like in the future (in 100 years)? 2. Talk about now, the past and the future. 3. Learn the new words and lead in 1a.				通过图片，让学生对未来进行畅想，引出今天的听力主题：谈论过去、现在和未来。导入1a。
Step 2 Presentation (PPT 7-8)		1. Work on 1a. Look at the form and read the headings to the class. Make sure Ss know what they mean. Read the list of seven words. Explain the new words. Write each word in the correct column. Check the answers. 2. Work on 1b. Read the words already written in the chart. Group-work:Think about what we learned before. Write some words in the chart above. Divide the class into groups of four, let them have a competition. 3. Divide the words into different kinds and read them aloud.				学生阅读这些单词，并对这些单词进行分类。学习生词并大声读单词。
Step 3 Listening (PPT 9-12)		1. Work on 1c. Ask Ss to look at the pictures carefully. Can you guess what we'll listen?Talk about them. Read the instructions. We'll listen to 3 conversations. Number the pictures 1-3. Play the tape twice. Check the answers. 2. Work on 1d. Make Ss listen again and then fill in the blanks with the correct verbs in the box. Listen again, Check answers. Step 4 Role-play (PPT 13-15)		Work on 1e. 1. Read the instructions. 2. Point out the example in the sample dialogue. Read it. 3. Pair-work. One is Alexis,one is Joe. 4. Talk about Joe's life now, ten years ago and in ten years. 5. Ask some pairs of Ss to role -play the conversation.				利用上面听力之后，将现在、10年前以及10年后的生活进行对比，编对话并进行表演。
Step 5 Practice (PPT 16)		1. Ask Ss to write a report to describe their past, now and the future. 2. Call some Ss to read the report.				仿照上面听力的信息，针对自己写一篇报道，将过去、现在和未来进行对比。
