1. Show the days of the week in a large monthly calendar.

2. Point out the days of the week at the top of the calendar and ask a student to read these words aloud.

3.Ask a student to point out today's date, tomorrow's date, the day after tomorrow's date and yesterday's date.

4.Complete Activity 1a,then check the answers.

5. Ask Ss to write the words today, tomorrow, yesterday and the day after tomorrow in the correct space on the calendars in their books.

6. Make Ss work in pairs. Ask and answer questions about the days in 1a.

7. Ask some Ss to present their conversations.

1. Point to the picture.

4. Point out the sample answer, say, Number 1 is b, that means Vince is playing soccer tomorrow.

5. Play the tape.

6. Correct the answers and read them together.
