Ask Ss to read the phrases in the box. Play the tape for Ss to listen again, then choose the correct short answer to answer each question. Ss write answer on their own,then call some Ss to read their answers. Check answers.

3. Practice the conversation. Retell the conversation

using the information in 2b.Then read the short passage.
