一.教学目标:
知识目标

二、教学重点:
1.阅读并理解任务2中的短文,完成文章后的练习。
2.学习现在分词的构成。
三、教学难点:
掌握现在进行时态中谓语动词的结构及现在分词的构成。
四、教学过程:
(一)Leading-in:
师生问好:
T: Good morning class.
S: Good morning teacher.
T: How are you?
S: We are fine.
教师活动:Let’s talk about some pictures.提高学生学习兴趣,导入新课。
学生活动:欣赏图片 。了解人们正在做的事情。
设计意图:通过师生之间的对话引入本课的内容。以图片的形式让学生更直观的理解本课新内容,不同的人在不同的时间会做不同的事情。老师提出问题“What are they doing now?”,让学生讨论,引出本课时学习的重要语法知识:现在进行时。为下面活动的展开做好准备。
(二)Teaching steps
1. Activity 1
完成教材任务1
将单词和短语与图片搭配,并说说图片上的人在干什么,完成教材任务1
首先学生自主完成该项练习,然后提问几名同学,其他同学做出评价。
2.Activity 2
阅读课文,完成教材任务2 (看教材第56页Part 2 -4 .Learn the text.)
Listen and answer. (播放一遍活动2 的短文录音,让学生快速浏览文章,并完成活动2下的任务。)

设计意图:播放录音,训练学生听力。

4. Complete the passage with the correct form of the words from the box.
用方框中所给单词的适当形式完成短文,完成教材任务4。首先学生通过阅读课文,在了解课文内容的基础上自主完成该项练习,然后老师提问,请学生回答,其他同学做出评价并核对答案。

1.At this moment, in different places of the world people are doing different things.
此时此刻,世界不同地方的人们正在做着不同的事情。
⑴ at this moment意思是“现在,此刻”常与现在进行时态连用, 也可写作at the moment, 近义词为now。
例如:我妈妈此刻正在做饭。
My mother is cooking______________________.
⑵ be different from 与。。不同
2. They’re waiting for buses and running for trains.
他们有的在等公共汽车,有的正跑去乘火车。
⑴ wait 意思是 “等待,等候”,是不及物动词。当其后面跟宾语时,一定要加介词for。wait for sb./sth.,意思为“等某人/物”;
例如: 我正在等你的回信。I’m _____________your letter.
⑵ can’t wait to do sth.,意思是“迫不及待的去做某事”。
例如:She __________ go home. 学生们保持安静
3. People are leaving work and are going home.人们正要下班,将要回家。
1)leave work 下班 例如: He ____________ at 5:00 every day. 他每天5点下班。
2) leave for sw.表“离开某地前往某地”。
例如:I ____________ Beijing. 我将要去北京。
3)leave sth +地点 把某物忘在/落在某处”
Don’t _______your book in the taxi. 不要把你的书落在出租车上。
4. Some are getting off buses or trains.一些人正在下汽车或火车。
⑴ get off 为介词,意思是下(飞机,汽车,火车等)。 =get out of
例如:He ____________the car. 他下了小汽车。
⑵get off 的反义词是get on, 意思是上(车、床、飞机等) 。
例如:Here comes the train. Let’s ________. 火车来了,上车吧。

感谢你来自长城的明信片。
thank you for意为“因……而感谢你”。
常用句式:thank sb.for (doing) sth.“因(做)某事而感谢某人”。
例如:_______________________to my party.
感谢你来参加我的聚会。
5. Activity 5看教材第57页Writing
Find out what time it is now in London, Moscow, New York and Los Angeles. Write sentences about what people are doing or aren’t doing. Join sentences with and or so.
找出伦敦、莫斯科、纽约和洛杉矶现在是几点钟,写出关于那里的人在做什么或不做什么的句子,将写出的句子用and或so连接起来,完成教材任务5。
(1)引导学生观察这些地方所在的时区及时间上的差异,学生自主完成该项练习;
(2)小组交流,每组推荐一个同学在班内展示。其他同学给予评价并鼓励。
6.Activity 6 看教材第57页Read the postcard and check (√ ) the true sentences.
阅读明信片,在正确的句子上打钩(√),完成教材任务6。学生自主阅读明信片,然后完成该项任务。请几名学生回答,并核对答案。
7.Activity 7 看教材第57页Write Betty’s postcard to her grandma from the Great Wall. (1)老师讲解书信的写作方式。先写称呼Dear Grandma,然后写“她在干什么?她喜欢什么?”最后以Love,Betty结尾。
(2)学生自主完成该写作练习,然后小组内交流分享,最后选出代表在班内展示。
