教材分析：

  本单元主要教学内容为“谈论动物”。在教学中，教师要通过扎实的听说训练，让学生熟练运用Look at the  … It has a short / …用形容词介绍动物特征。在引入本单元话题时可以充分利用学生已学的知识，在课堂上创设生活情景，引导学生产生介绍动物特征的欲望，鼓励学生积极自主地参与交流。

学习目标：

（1）能听懂、会说、初步认读bear, giraffe，monkey，tiger，long，short这六个单词，发音正确。

（2) 能听懂Look at the  … It has a short / …。

（3）能使用句型Look at the  … It has a short / …来描述动物，发音正确。

（4）培养学生的交际能力和语言的表达能力。

（5）会唱The monkeys in the zoo.

学习重点：

One. Watch the CD and learn the new word, rabbit.

Two. Learn the other words in the same way.

Three. Read the new words in the different ways.

     Read in groups, read together or read one by one.

Four. Play a game.

Five. Learn the new sentence.

Six. Let Ss learn to say the new sentence.

C．Sing a song.

Let Ss listen to the CD several times and just know it.
