    Dear students,
I'm very happy to be your guest speaker today. It's a great pleasure to visit your school and meet all of you here.
I would like to tell you about myself. I am a reporter. I chose this job so I could travel the world, but the job has taught me many lessons. My work is sometimes boring. But most of the time, it is wonderful. I saw wars, earthquakes, and death. But I have also seen courage, hope, and happiness.

Another time, I was in Japan and met a young girl. She was very ill. After seven operations(手术), she had to have thirteen more in hospital. However, when I met her, she was still smiling.
Here in China, after the terrible Wenchuan Earthquake, I found a threeyearold boy named Lang Zheng. Though he was weak and hurt badly, the brave boy lifted his right hand above the head to salute(向……致敬) the soldiers. This became the most moving moment.

Listening test is one of the most important parts of the English exam. Here are some tips for you.
Before you start to listen, you need to-relax. Don’t be stressed out. And try to read the questions. These questions usually help you understand the conversation or the passage.
Then listen carefully to the first sentence. It usually tells you the main idea of the passage. When you’re listening, try to do some thinking and take some notes, such as:
    ☆What happened
    ☆When, where, and how
☆What does the speaker want to tell us
In this way, you may understand the passage better,
Please remember not to think about one or two words for a long time. When you hear some words you don’t know, don’t spend too much time on them. Very often, you’ll find out what they mean later when you go on with the listening.

    143.We_all_know_that_health_is_very_important._But_how_can_we_keep_healthy?_Here_is_my_advice._
First, we should have a healthy diet. Eat more healthy food such as vegetables and fruit every day. It's also very helpful to drink a glass of milk every morning. You'd better not eat junk food. It's bad for your health. Second, doing exercise is a good way to keep healthy. You can take a walk after dinner or play sports on weekends. Third, having enough sleep can make you fitter and help you relax.
What's more, it's very necessary to keep happy every day.
144.In some ways, we are the same. She is as thin as me. We both have long straight hair. Both of us like sports. We are both hard-working and good at our subjects. We both like reading and we usually go to the library together on the weekend.
But in some ways, we are different. She is taller and more outgoing than me. She is better at singing and dancing. She likes going to the concert. For me, I like suffering the Internet and I love traveling. As for TV programs, we have different opinions. She likes talent shows. However, I really like sports shows.
In fact, we don’t really care if our friends are the same as us or different from us.
