Use the words and phrases in the box.3.Check the answers with the students.1.Finish 3a.2. Check the answers with the teacher.Learn how to write a diary about vacation. Step 3 Practice Encourage students to answer questions one by one.Have several students  present their notes.Discuss with partners and try to find the answers to these questions in 3b.Cooperation Step 4 Practice  1.Ask students to write a diary like Jane’s on the text book. Use the notes in 3b. (this part may be students’ homework)2.Get some students to read their writings. Write a diary about their own vacation.  Practice students’ writing abilities. Step 5 PracticeAsk students to make conversations according to page 8. And then present their conversations.  Make conversations about their vacation with their partners.  Improve students’ speaking abilities. Step 6 Self-Check 1. Ask students to complete the conversations with the correct words in the box, and then ask some one to answer those questions. 2. Ask students to complete the passage with the correct forms of verbs. Pay attention to the irregular verbs.Then check the answers.Finish the two activities in Self Check.Consolidation Step 7 Summary Summary: In this class, we consolidated what we have learned in the unit: indefinite pronouns and the past tense of a diary. So it is important for us to turn a verb to its past form.
