【教材分析】
本课通过Jenny向Li Ming和Danny展示来自Lucy的圣诞贺卡,回忆自己国家的圣诞节的相关习俗等.从语法角度讲再次学习一般现在时态的特殊疑问句及其回答.
【教学目标】
1.知识技能目标:
(1)能听,说,认读本课的核心单词;
(2)能在语境中学习并初步运用核心句型"What do you usually do at Christmas? The family get together."询问并回答圣诞节的相关活动等.
2.情感目标:
(1)通过营造浓浓的圣诞节氛围,感染学生的情绪,感受圣诞节的欢乐;
(2)并了解有关圣诞节的相关文化背景,培养学生的跨文化意识.

2.Lead-in: Jenny has a Christmas card from Lucy. When is Christmas Day?
