Step I. Lead-in
1.Teacher talked about her summer vacation and write some expressions on the board at the same time.Then ask the students something about their vacations.
—Where did you go on vacation? —I went to summer camp.
—Did you go with anyone? —Yes, I did./No, I didn’t.(I went there with my sister.)
2.Write many expressions about vacation activities on the board. (Use colorful chalk to emphasize the past tense of the verbs)
Step II. Presentation
1.Let Ss read the expressions on the board.
2. Ask Ss to make a conversation about their vacation.
A: Where did you go on vacation?
B:I went to summer camp.
A:Did you go with anyone?
B:Yes, I did. I went there with my sister.
3. --Where did she/he go on vacation? --She/He went to summer camp.
4.Focus attention on the picture.
Ask: What can you see? Say: Each picture shows something a person did in the past. Name each
activity and ask students to repeat: Stayed at home, Went to mountains, went to New York City

5. Now, please match each phrase with one of the pictures next to the name of the activity point to

e. wonder 想知道;对。。。感到怀疑
wonder 后接who, what,why,where等引导的宾语从句。I wonder who she is.
后接that引导的宾语从句,表示“感到惊奇;对。。。感到惊讶”

后接if或whether引导的宾语从句,常用来表示一种委婉的请求或疑问。
