1. Greeting.
2. Sing a song <What do you want to be>.

师生打招呼，通过歌曲导入本节课。

Presentation

1. Brainstorm:

Draw a family tree on the blackboard. Let ss to think of family members they have learned.

2. Teach new words: Teacher prepares a family photo.

T: My father is a doctor. (learn “doctor”)

T: My mother is a teacher.(learn “nurse”) 

Other words are learned in the same way.

复习学过的家庭成员名称，学生联系生活回顾家庭成员名称的表达。通过图片学习不同的职业表达，强调发音规范。

Practice

1. Review the new words. Read all the new words three times. Then teacher shows the pictures, ss say the words quickly.
2. Play a game - find the words. Give ss some word cards. Teacher says “My mum/dad is a...”. Ss try to find the word card and say the sentence loudly.

齐读单词，复习所有新单词。词卡游戏，帮助学生掌握单词的形。

Let ss work in pairs to talk about their parents’ jobs. Encourage them to use the sentence pattern“My mum/dad is a ...” to talk.
