Before reading

1. Get students to read the title of the passage quick and try to answer the question.
2. Ask several students to predict the main idea of the passage.

While reading

1. To show a choose and get students to read the statements in it.
2. Play the tapes and get students to read after the tapes for get the main idea.
3. Ask one students to read the first passage for us and others try to judge true or false.
4. Lead students to find the relative sentences with these sentences and explain them.
5. Check the answer together and try to correct the false.
6. Read the passage again by themselves and pay attention to the black words.
7. Explain the usage of demonstrative pronouns and ask students to explain them.
8. Simply introduce the products in Japan,France and Switzerland by using some pictures.
9. Read the second paragraph together and try to retell Kang Jian’s experience by using the structures on the blackboard.

本节课围绕主人公康健在美国的一次购物经历而展开话题，内容贴近生活，不仅展示了世界大同和经济互利互惠，同时展示了中国制造在国际贸易中的作用，体现了中国强大。同时穿插了代词的使用，教会学生根据上下文做有效推断，并能通过带入法理解代词在英语句子当中的使用方式。

1. Advantages（亮点）：本课在阅读训练中不但设计了较为有目的性的习题，同时在阅读时罗列了一些阅读技巧，充分发挥了学生在学习中的主体地位。最后进行了德育教育，使文章得到升华。

2.Disadvantages（不足）：阅读材料内容不够丰富，说服力不强，学生很难引起共情。练习题不够系统，有点以偏概全。

3.Teaching Advice（教学建议）：课前可多收集一些中国制造在各国的售卖图片和视频来丰富教材内容，更具说服力。同时搭配一些代词练习题，加以巩固知识。
