第6课时Lesson 12 Be Safe on the Way
1.能够正确听、说、认、读first,excited,careful,cross,safe等词汇以及运用这些词和the first…of…,be excited,be waiting for…,watch for…,far from…,look to…等在真实的语境中询问和表达日常的出行方式,进行日常交流。2.能够运用情景创设法、任务驱动法、自主合作探究法、以旧带新法和多媒体技术直观地学习如何询问和表达日常的出行方式,达到让学生自然交流、综合运用的目的。3.通过情景创设,让学生能够根据交通安全常识,表演此课小对话,培养学生遵守交通规则的生活理念,激发和培养学生学习英语的欲望和乐于运用英语交流的态度和能力。
重点掌握一般现在时(主语单三和非单三)、现在进行时和the first…of…,be excited,be waiting for…,watch for…,far from…,look to…等在真实的语境中询问和表达日常的出行方式。难点序数词的表达方式与祈使句在实际生活中的运用。
Step 1 Warming up1. Listen and try to sing the song with music.听并跟唱歌曲利用课前热身的环节,让学生听并跟唱歌曲。教师也可以采用课前循环播放的形式,让学生感知歌曲,加深对歌曲的旋律和歌词的印象。2.Free talk.T:How are you?Nice to meet you.What day is it today?What's the date today?Where are you from?Do you like taking school bus to school?Ss talk with the teacher freely.3.创设情景。T:There are a lot of kinds of vehicles in different countries.播放一段不同国家有关交通标志及交通规则的视频。T:Which vehicle do you like best?Which one is safer for us?课件展示网上的一则消息:小学生上学最安全的出行方式调查。Step 2 Presentation1.学习Part 1.(1)词组和句子的学习。T:First.I want to know“How do you go to school every day?”.学生自由发言,通过brainstorm的方式,引出本课词组的学习:by bus,by car,ride a bike,walk,并引导学生完整表达。如:I go to school by bus.I go to school by car.I ride my bike to school.I walk to school.(2)频度副词always,often,sometimes,never的复习。T:Do you want to know something about our new friend Lily?Ss:Yes!T:She doesn't always go to school by bus.Sometimes she rides her bike.But she often goes to school by bus.She never walks to school.Because she lives too far from her school.教师介绍完Lily的出行方式后,需要领着学生复习“always,often,sometimes,never”这四个词,可以利用本课内容,也可以利用图表展示。(3)学习文本对话。T:Sam,Oba,Al,Neva meet at the bus stop.What are they talking about?Listen carefully.①听录音,理解Story time内容。(通过听力,完成探究学习中第Ⅰ题。完成后核对答案。)②观看课文动画,进一步理解课文内容。(完成探究学习中第Ⅱ题。完成后核对答案。)③阅读,并翻译主要句子的中文意思,掌握单词、句子读法。(完成探究学习中第Ⅲ题。完成后核对答案。)④教师领读,学生模仿、齐读练习、小组叙述。(4)Make a survey.小组内调查不同国家的交通标志及交通规则,完成探究学习中第Ⅳ题中的调查表。2.Talk and act.(1)齐读本课课文。(2)表演小对话。Step 3 Practice1.再次阅读本课的小故事,让学生用英语表达如何安全出行。2.小组内进行介绍,并将句子书写完整。Step 4 Consolidation创设情景:You are from…Do you know how to be safe on the street in…?1.根据课前搜集的不同国家的交通情况,小组内整理搜集成果。Q:Where do you survey?Q:Which vehicle do you like best?2.结合以上信息,仿照本课小故事进行小组对话创编表演。A:Where are you from?B:I am from…A:Do you want to be safe while waiting for the bus?B:Yes.A:Do you always go to school…?B:I often go to school……Step 5 Summing up & Homework1.Summing up.(1)Words:first,excited,careful,cross,safe及频度副词。(2)Phrases & Sentences:the first…of…,be excited,be waiting for…,watch for…,far from…,look to…这节课我的收获是:___________________________________________________________这节课我的不足是:___________________________________________________________2.Homework.(1)Listen and read “Story time”.听录音,朗读本课的“Story time”。(2)Finish the relevant workbook exercises.完成课堂检测中的相关习题。(3)Make up a new dialogue according to the text and act it out.结合本课学习内容创编一个新对话并将其表演出来。
