  句中名词所有格有什么需要注意的呢?

  在英语中，名词所有格表示人或事物的所属关系．意为“……的”。注意以下几种情况：

    (1)若表示两人所共有的．只在后一个名词后加“ ’S”。

    Mr．Green is Lucy and Lily’s father．格林先生是露西和莉莉的父亲。

    (2)若表示两人各自所有的，分别在两个名词后加“ ’S”。

They’re Lucy’s and Tom’s fathers．他们是露西和汤姆的父亲。

[例1] This is      （Tom and John ）room.

   【解析】  由句意“这是汤姆和约翰共同的房间”,可知只在最后一个名词后加上“’s”即可。

  【答案】Tom and John’s
