Step 1 Warming up
1. Homework check.
2. Go over twelve months. Say the names of the months with the whole class.

3. Show a picture about Christmas, and ask the
class: What do you know about Christmas?
Get some students to say something about
Christmas.
Step 2 Presentation
Teach the new words excited, beach, Anne,
Australia, hope and yours. First get the students to read the new words aloud by themselves, and then repeat the words two or three times after the teacher.

beach /biːtʃ/ n. 沙滩
