探究三:Language Points
1.would like 想;想要 (1) would like可与任何人称连用,没有人称和数的变化,肯定句中would常在主语后缩写为'd。例:I'd like a cup of coffee. 我想要一杯咖啡。(2)would like后接名词或代词,表示“要”某样东西。例:My mother would like a new handbag. 我妈妈想要一个新的手提包。(3)would like to do sth.想要/愿意做某事 例:I would like to introduce my new friend to you. 我想要把我的新朋友介绍给你。(4)would like sb. to do sth. 想要某人做某事 例:I'd like you to look after my baby. 我想要你照看我的孩子。
2.allow v.允许 (1)allow doing sth.“允许做某事” (2)allow sb. to do sth.“允许某人做某事”,其被动语态为sb. be allowed to do sth.“某人被允许做某事”。例:We don't allow smoking in our house. 在我们家里不允许吸烟。My parents don't allow me to go out at night. 我父母不允许我晚上出去。
3.all the time 始终;一直;总是
多表示某一动作持续进行。例:The boys made noise all the time. 男孩子们一直在吵闹。
