一、导入环节(2分钟)
(一)导入新课,板书课题
导入语:Good morning, class. How are you? Today, we are going to learn:
Lesson 24 I Need a Map!
(二)出示学习目标 过渡语:First ,let’s read the learning goals together.
1.我要掌握单词和短语:mile,across ----;have the flu,across from---
2.通过学习,我要能用英语描述生活在新环境里的情况。

探究三:Language Points
1.flu意为“流感”,是非正式用语,指流行性感冒;cold意为“伤风,感冒”,一般泛指因着凉而伤风;have the flu意为“患流感”。类似的短语还有:have a cold(得感冒),have a headache(头疼),have a cough(咳嗽)。 How do you know when you have the flu?你如何知道你得了流感?
2.辨析 get to know和know
(1)get to know 强调动作,指“从不认识到认识的渐进过程”。(2)know 强调状态,指“认识,了解,知道”。是延续性动词,可以和表示一段时间的状语连用。
[练一练] ①.We have known each other for many years.我们认识很多年了。
②.When did you get to know Nick?你是什么时候认识尼克的?
3.across from意思是“在……对面”,相当于opposite。
They live across from us.他们住在我们对面。
Across from the bank is the post office.邮局就在银行对面。
4.get lost意思是 “迷路”,表示动作;be lost 意思是 “迷路”,表示状态。
I got/was lost in the forest.我在森林里迷路了。
探究四:Finish “Let’s Do it” part2~4.
