一、导入环节（2分钟）

（一）导入新课，板书课题

导入语：Good morning, class. How are you? Today, we are going to learn：

（二）出示学习目标　过渡语:First ,let’s read the learning goals together.

探究三：Language Points 

1.advice （1）n.劝告；忠告；建议　　You should follow his advice.

你应该听从他的劝告。advice为不可数名词，表示“一条建议”常用a piece of advice，“两条建议”要用two pieces of advice，表示“许多建议”要用much advice。

常用短语：give sb. some advice＝give some advice to sb.给某人一些建议；

take one's advice 接受某人的建议。

（2）advise为动词，其固定结构有：advise sb. to do sth.，意为“建议某人做某事”，advise sb. not to do sth.，意为“建议某人不要做某事”。

例：Everyone advised him to live with his daughter.每个人都建议他与女儿住在一起。

2.辨析the number of与a number of

（1）the number of意为“……的数量或总数”，谓语动词要用单数形式。

（2）a number of意为“大量的，许多的”，谓语动词一般用复数形式。number前可用large，small来修饰。两者后均接可数名词复数形式。

A number of teachers are present today，and the number of them is 3,000. 许多老师今天都出席了，总数有3 000人。

3.“make sb./sth.+adj.”意为“使某人或某物处于某种状态”。形容词作宾语补足语,对宾语进行补充说明。能够带宾语补足语的动词有很多,常见的有make,get,have等。

Two hours’ walk made me tired and thirsty.两个小时的步行让我又累又渴。
