一、导入环节(2分钟)
(一)导入新课,板书课题
导入语:Good morning, class. How are you? Today, we are going to learn:
Lesson 2 Many Faces, One Picture
(二)出示学习目标
过渡语:First ,let’s read the learning goals together.
1.我要掌握单词和短语:advise,agree,glue--; look like,advise sb.to do sth.--
2.通过学习,我要通过谈论照片学会用英语描述人的外貌。
过渡语:I believe everyone can achieve your goal? Can you ? Let’s begin .
二、先学环节(15分钟)
过渡语:First look at the guides carefully and then finish the tasks step by step.

探究一:Listening (Listen to the tape with your book closed and finish “Let’s Do it” part 1)
探究二: Reading 1.Read the text and fill in the blanks.

(3)They want to glue the pictures on the________.

2.Read the dialogue and answer the following questions:
(1)What clothes does Wang Mei wear in the picture?
(2)How many pictures does Li Ming have?
(3).What will they do to describe the pictures?

3.Read the text once again and finish Part 2、3 in “Let’s Do it”
探究三:Language Points
1.【辨析】a picture of sb, a picture of sb’s
(1) a picture of sb 表示照片上的人就是某人自己,如a picture of my father我父亲的照片(照片上的人是我父亲)
(2) a picture of sb’s 表示照片归某人所有,但照片上的人不一定是某人自己。如a picture of my father’s 我父亲的照片(照片上的人不一定是我父亲,但照片归我父亲所有。)
2.【辨析】wear, be in, put on, dress
(1) wear “穿,戴,留”强调状态。其宾语常为服装、鞋帽、首饰、眼镜、头发、胡须等名词。(2) be in 表示“穿”的状态 其宾语通常为表示颜色或衣服的词,有时可与wear互换。(3) put on “穿上;戴上”强调动作。其宾语常为衣服、鞋帽、眼镜等名词。宾语为代词时要放在短语中间。(4) dress “给(某人)穿衣服”强调“穿”的动作。宾语通常为表示人的名词、代词或反身代词。词组dress sb / oneself意为“给某人/某人自己穿衣服”。
3.advise sb to do sth 建议某人做某事 advise doing sth 建议做某事
4.agree with sb 同意某人(的看法); agree to do sth 同意做某事;agree+that从句 同意---.
5.【辨析】beside与besides (1)beside介词,意为“在---旁边”(2)besides ①介词,意为“除---之外(还)”②副词,意为“此外,而且”
6. put up (1)张贴 (2)举起 (3)搭建,建造
四、训练环节(13分钟)Ⅰ.按要求完成下列练习
1. The little girl put on her coat and went out. She was in a red hat today. She also wore a red scarf to match her hat. I was very surprised that she could dress herself. (选用put on, wear, be in, dress适当形式填空)
2.Our parents always advise us to be careful. (我们的父母总是建议我们要小心)
3.They advised leaving right now.(他们建议马上离开)
4. I went over and stood beside him. (我走过去站在了他旁边)
5. Do you play other games besides tennis? (除网球之外,你还有其他运动吗?)
