Module 1 How to learn EnglishUnit 1 Let’s try to speak English as much as possible. 一、教学目标1. 能够掌握新词汇:pair, correct, spelling, word, practice, meaning, complete, sentence, dictionary, grammar, letter, look up, mistake, make a mistake, understand, advice, should, possible, write down, notebook, forget, aloud, radio, key, main, agree, agree with sb.等。2. 能听懂有关英语学习的话题,并获取有关英语学习的方法。3. 能够谈论英语学习中的困难并提供建议,开展多轮会话。4. 能够就英语学习方法开展讨论并给出建议。5. 掌握提出建议以及回应建议的语调。6. 能够与同学交流学习心得,共享学习策略。7. 通过学习,理解西方人如何提出建议,并懂得对于让人的建议应表示感谢。二、教学重点及难点重点:1. 掌握本课重点词汇和短语的运用。2. 掌握提出建议的句型。难点:如何就英语学习方法开展讨论并给出建议。三、教学准备多媒体设备和课件四、教学过程Step 1 Warming-upTalk about the questions in the whole class.【设计意图】通过问题讨论可以激发学生的兴趣,引出本课主题的同时,也培养了学生的思维开拓能力。Step 2 Pre-listening 1. Learn the new words.2. Read the instructions and check (√) the ones they understand.3. Listen and answer the questions.【设计意图】通过学习新单词为本课学习扫清词汇障碍;再通过熟悉课堂中常用指示语,及问答形式引入学习策略这一话题,为下面的听力做准备。Step 3 While-listening 1. Listen and mark T or F.2. Listen again and write notes about learning English.【设计意图】通过听力活动,帮助学生理解对话内容的同时,培养学生获取具体信息的能力,养成边听边做笔记的习惯。Step 4 Post-listening 1. Learn the language points.(1) Let’s try to speak English as much as possible. 让我们尽可能地多说英语。try to do sth. 努力做某事try doing sth. 试着做某事as much as possible 尽量,尽最大努力(可能)(2) And don’t forget to write down the correct answers next to the mistakes. 不要忘记把正确的答案写在错误旁。forget to do 忘了应该去做某事forget doing 忘记过去已经做过某事(3) It’s a good idea to spell and pronounce new words aloud. 大声拼读出新单词是个好主意。本句中的it是形式主语,真正的主语是动词不定式to spell and pronounce new words aloud。类似的句型:It is +形容词+of/for sb.to do sth.2. Learn the structures of providing advice.【设计意图】系统学习本课语言点和表达建议的句型结构。3. Underline the correct words and expressions.4. Listen and mark the intonation, then listen again and repeat.【设计意图】学生通过自主学习本部分内容,之后听录音,加深其印象。5. Work in pairs. Talk about problems in learning English and give advice.【设计意图】通过对话的形式,帮助学生掌握提出建议的表达方式。Step 5 SummarySummarize what they have learned today.Step 6 Homework1. Recite the dialogue. 2.
