一、教学目标
1. 熟练掌握下列词汇和短语:exciting, better, see sb. doing sth. the more…the healthier…等。
2. 掌握并运用下列句型:
Our favourite Olympic sport is swimming/table tennis/…
We like it because it is exciting, popular…
It is more exciting than…
The more you go jogging, the healthier you will feel.
3. 能够读懂介绍运动会比赛场景的短文,并能捕捉细节信息。
4. 能够用英语描述自己喜爱的体育项目,并制作海报陈述喜爱的理由及该项目特点。
5. 能够了解不同的体育运动,了解不同人的体育爱好,培养对体育运动的兴趣。
二、教学重点及难点
重点:
1. 掌握本模块的单词和重要句型。
2. 能够运用形容词(多音节词及部分双音节词)和副词的比较级形式做出合适的比较,表达个人观点。
难点:
1. 能够掌握形容词(多音节词及部分双音节词)及副词的比较级形式的运用。
2. 能够介绍自己喜爱的体育项目,并制作海报陈述喜爱的理由及该项目特点。
三、教学准备
1. 多媒体设备和课件;
2. 设计课后巩固练习;
3. 教学图片。
四、教学过程
Step 1 Revision
Practice and review the grammar.
【设计意图】通过练习检测学生对于本模块语法的掌握情况。
Step 2 Warming-up
Look at the pictures and talk about them.
【设计意图】通过对阅读话题进行讨论来激发学生的表达欲望,锻炼学生口语表达能力。
Step 3 Practice
1. T asks Ss to read and check (√) the right sentences.
2. T checks the answers as a class.
3. T asks Ss to read the passage and then complete the sentences.
4. Ask Ss to discuss their answers in groups.
【设计意图】通过阅读短文并回答问题,有利于加强学生对于语法的理解和运用,同时检测学生在阅读中获取细节信息的能力。
5. Learn some language points.
(1) In the mornings and evenings, you can see people jogging in parks or along city streets. 在早晨和晚上,你能看见人们在公园里或沿着城市的街道慢跑。
see sb. doing sth. 意为“看见某人正在做某事”。
辨析:see sb. doing sth. 与 see sb. do sth.
(2) The more you go jogging, the healthier you will feel. 你慢跑得越多,你就会感到越健康。
句型the more…the healthier…是英语中的“the+比较级,the+比较级”结构,意为“越……越……”。

Step 4 Production
1. T asks Ss to read the sentences patterns.
2. T ask Ss to work in groups and talk about their favourite Olympic sports. Then choose one sport for their posters.
【设计意图】通过引导学生仿照范例进行对话,讨论自己喜爱的体育活动,锻炼学生的语言输出能力,同时为本模块的任务作铺垫。
3. T ask Ss to write down their answers to Activity 7 and add the information they want to include in their posters.
4. T ask Ss to find pictures for their favourite Olympic sports.
5. T ask Ss to make posters and show their posters to their classmates.
【设计意图】学生制作海报,展示海报,可以让学生在小组活动中增强合作意识,同时鼓励学生在实际语境中运用所学知识。
