Step1 Greeting T: Class beings. Ss: Stand up. T: Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning, Miss G. T: Good morning, boys. Boys: Good morning, Miss G. T: Good morning, girls. Girls: Good morning, Miss G. T: Sit down, please. Step 2 practice 1.Magic eyes Show the words and sentences quickly. Review the words and sentences. 2.Review the story time Act it out. 3.Read the rhyme Here’s my bag, look! What can you see? Two yo-yos and a book Oh no! And a yellow bee. Try to change the lyrics E.g.: Here’s my bag, look! What can you see? Two hankies and a pencil Oh no! And a green pepper! 4.Show the words: bottle hankie sticker yo-yo Ask ss to find the letters they have learned last unit Show a little train with a-w on it, and the next xyz Teach ss how to read and write. 5.Practice the letters. (1)Show single letter, then two together. (2)Show some words, and ss to find out the letter of XYZ. Rubber cherry zoo…. (3)Show some letters in different colour, and try to say phrases like: A green x/ a pink Y… (4)Show a picture with several letters on it, ss should count and make dialogue like: S1: How many red Ys? S2: One, two... three red Ys. Or: S1: What’s in your book? S1: A… Step 3 exercise A.Listen and match Make clearly who are they and what are these Listen and do Check B.Point and say Point out who are they Point out what’s in their bags Try to say C.Draw and say Draw the items with different colour |
