You’d better go and see a doctor, Wang Mei.  你最好去看医生，王梅。  (1) had better do sth. 最好做某事。用来表示对别人的劝告、建议或一种愿望。其否定形式为had better not do sth.（最好不要做某事）。had better可缩写为’d better。   You’d better go home at once. 你最好立刻回家。   You’d better not do that. 你最好不要那样做。  (2) see a doctor 看医生。相当于go to a/the doctor(去看医生)。  She looks bad. She’d better see a doctor. 她看上去气色不好，她最好去看医生。3. What’s the matter? 怎么了？  What’s the matter (with…)? (……)出什么事？/（……）怎么了？  相当于What’s wrong(with…)?。可用于询问不好的事或医生询问病人。  What’s the matter with Tom? = What’s wrong with Tom? 汤姆怎么了？4. Take this medicine. 服这药。  medicine n. 药  表示内服药时，常为不可数名词。表示各种各样的药时，为可数名词。  take/have the medicine服药medicine for+疾病  治……的药  Do you find my medicine? 你找到我的药了吗？  Take the medicine and you will be better. 服了这药，你会好点儿。5. Stay home and have a good rest. 待在家里，好好休息。  (1) stay home 待在家里（此处home为副词）。“待在家里”还可表示为  stay at home，此处home为名词。  Because of the COVID-19, the people in some places must stay (at) home.  因为新冠肺炎，一些地方的人必须待在家里。  (2) rest   ① n. 休息have a (good) rest (好好) 休息  I’m very tired. I want to have a good rest. 我很累。我想好好休息一下。  ② v. 休息；使休息  Let’s rest now. 咱们现在休息吧。  You’d better rest your hands. 你最好放松一下你的手。Step 16  Homework1.
