Starter Unit 3 What color is it?Period 1 (1a-2e)一、教学目标1. 能掌握字母Ss ~ Zz字母顺序、读音及书写 及词汇：color, red, white, black, blue, green, yellow, purple, brown.2. 能掌握以下句型：①  — What’s this?          — It’s V. ②  — What’s that?          — It’s Z. ③  — What color is it?    — It’s red.  3. 能够熟练使用常见的表示颜色的形容词。red, yellow, green, blue, black, white, purple, brown 能够熟练使用What引导的特殊疑问向询问物品的颜色并作回答。A: What color is it?B: It's black.感知定冠词the的用法。了解缩略词S/M/L、UFO、CCTV的含义。二、教学重难点 重点：能运用所学知识熟练描述物体的颜色，同时进一步学习分辨物体的用语，并加以运用。学习掌握字母Ss ~ Zz的字母顺序，读音及书写。难点：感知定冠词the的用法。三、教学准备教师：教学课件；多媒体设备学生：课前预习四、教学过程Task I (1a-1c)Step 1. Warming-upGuide Ss to review the letters Aa~ Rr together.2. Play the video of What color is it?  Ask Ss to watch and learn to sing.【设计意图】复习和视频引入本单元的内容，激发学习兴趣，增加了学生的参与度。Step 2. Pre-listeningWork on 1a  1. Show the letter cards and help the students learn to read the letters.【设计意图】通过图片，引导学生初步感知字母Ss- Zz的音和形，为听读对话做准备。2. Help the students learn the words of color by using the picture.【设计意图】通过创设情景，引导学生学习颜色词汇，为听读对话做准备。3. Let Ss look at the picture in 1a and read the colors on the left. Then write the letter for each color.  【设计意图】通过创设情景，初步巩固字母Ss- Zz的音和形以及颜色词汇。Step 3. While-listening Work on 1b. Let Ss listen to the recording first and then repeat after the recording in 1b. 【设计意图】通过创设情景，引导学生感知谈论颜色的句型，初步巩固字母Ss- Zz的音和形以及颜色词汇。Step 4. Post-listeningAsk Ss to learn the language points.(1) 句型What color is it？  It’s red. what color 用来提问颜色， 回答时注意颜色前不加冠词。(2) 定冠词the 的简单用法：双方已知的名词前，可代替this和that。(3) 句型— What’s this?          — It’s V.   注意当答语是字母时，字母前不加冠词。【设计意图】通过语言点的学习，帮助学生加深对功能句的正确表达，为下一步口语练习做准备。2. Ask Ss to practice the conversations in the picture with their partners. 3. Ask Ss to use the sentences they have just learned to make their own conversations.  【设计意图】通过口语练习，帮助学生在自然的语言环境中使用目标语言。运用刚学的句型，对颜色和字母进行问答。Task II (2a-2e) Step 1. PresentationAsk Ss to listen to 2a and repeat the letters Ss ~ Zz.【设计意图】通过听力，帮助学生再次感知字母的正确发音和语调。Step 2. Practice 1. Ask Ss to listen to 2b and number the letters [1~8].  【设计意图】通过听力，帮助学生巩固字母的音和形。2. Ask Ss to listen and copy the letters. 【设计意图】通过听力，帮助学生巩固字母的音和形，尤其是正确书写。Step 3. Production1. Ask Ss to write the missing big letter or small letter for each pair. (1) Tell Ss to look at the picture in 2d and read the letters aloud. Then let some Ss read the letters to the class aloud. (2) Let Ss try to write down the missing letters. Check the answers with their partners. (3) Let some Ss come to the Bb and write missing letters on the Bb. 【设计意图】让学生学会认读和书写字母Ss-Zz，老师给予必要的指导。2. Let some Ss talk about the meaning of each picture.【设计意图】通过本活动，引导学生更好地理解缩略词的用法和含义。Step 4.
