Grammar in use
Passive vice: 被动语态 结构: be (am, is, are, was, were) + P.P(动词过去分词) e.g.: Bill每天吃一个苹果. Bill eats an apple every day. e.g.:苹果被Bill吃了. The apple is eaten by Bill. e.g.: 这本书是1995年买的. The bk was bught in 1995. e.g.:我的钱昨天被偷了. My mney was stlen yesterday.
e.g.: 这个被叫做Marker笔. This is called a Marker pen. 动词作及物动词用(后可接宾语)时才能构成被动语态.如果要说明是什么人或什么东西做了某事,则用 “by + 行为主体”结构: e.g.: 那张桌子是我爷爷做的. That desk/ table was made by my grandfather.. “行为主体”也可以不表示出来: e.g.: 这架钢琴是英国造的. The pian was made in England.
e.g.:这辆车是上星期修的. The car was repaired last week. Change the fllwing sentences int passive: 1. William cked the fd yesterday. The fd was cked by William yeaterday. 2. A friend f my father’s is repairing the instrument. The instrument is being repaired by a friend f my father’s.

belng t: 属于 e.g.: 这本书属于我. This bk belngs t me. e.g.: 这个名字属于我已经12年了. The name has belnged t me fr 12 years.
allw sb. t d sth: 允许某人做某事 sb. be allwed t d sth. e.g.: Jane被允许每天只能吃一个苹果. Jane is allwed t eat ne apple every day. e.g.: 我们不能(不被允许)大声说话. We are nt allwed t speak ludly.
