T: Let’s enjoy a chant!

(结束的做动作,拿出冰淇淋)
T: I made the ice cream this morning.
Do you like ice cream?
S: Yes.
T: You can have a try!(每组一个,请学生品尝。)
2)品尝说关键词并引出主题
T: What about the ice cream?
S: The ice cream is ______. (PPT再chant那一页,给出图片句型提示学生可能会有各种答案,允许说中文)
T: The ice cream is tasty/yummy and cold. (总结两个特征)

- Brainstorming and learning
1) 解决tasty的问题,需要准备哪些食材?(设置购物情景,学习单词)
T: First, let’s go to the supermarket. We need to buy something to make ice cream. What do we need?(课件呈现购物车场景,只显示食材类图片)
S: …(请几位学生回答他所认为的答案,可中文)
T: What things do you need? Please work in groups and finish Task 1.
(小组合作,选出你们认为制作冰淇淋所需要的食材,将单词写在学习单上,并互助自学单词,遇见困难可以求助老师。)
(学生在求助的时候,可以请他将单词写到黑板上)

3) 解决cold的问题
T: Look! Pour all the things together! It is a mixture. (跟读)
The mixture is a liquid now. But ice cream is a solid. How does the mixture change into ice cream?
S: freezer, fridge…(学生自由回答)
T: When we make water very cold, it freezes and changes to ice. So when we make the mixture very cold, it freezes and changes to ice cream. (这个部分学生较难理解英文要在课件上给予提示)
3. Design
1)How to make ice cream?
老师对学生的方案给予肯定,并提出更好的方案。
T: I think you have good ideas. But it takes us some hours to make ice cream with a freezer. We want to eat ice cream at once! I can’t wait! So I have an idea. It is Cheap, easy, tasty/yummy and faster.

T: Here is how to make ice cream in a bag without even using the freezer!
2)通过问题帮助学生明确需要哪些制作材料
T: So in the video, what things did I use to make ice cream?

3)解决change的问题:
通过微课或课件帮助学生了解这种制作方法的科学原理,比较传统和快速的区别,为什么?播放微课)
T: Why they make the mixture change into the ice cream?
(The salt water is cooled by the ice, and the action of the salt on the ice causes it to (partially) melt, absorbing latent heat and bringing the mixture below the freezing point of water. )

(设置难度任务?完成领取冰淇淋装饰物比如巧克力酱、糖果粒等)
(学生完成任务后贴上标签,全部完成任务以后再统一发放材料)
- Test
冰淇淋派对:
1) 以小组为单位,推出介绍宣传口号。
2) 小组内,小组之间互相分享美味冰淇淋。
3) 投票选出最佳冰淇淋 在黑板上贴冰淇淋投票,如果遇到同票的情况,将票给现场老师加投。获胜组可以获得“项目完成认证”证书 ---冰淇淋制作小能手?
