It was his birthday present.Can you guess the meaning of “present”？

2. 合作交流：Part D

第一步：Listen and answer.

What could Dongdong do on the computer?

第二步：精读课文，判断正误。

（1）Dongdong was very sad.

（2）Dongdong’s father bought him a computer as his present.

（3）He has a friend in Australia.

（4）He could email his friends and do his homework.

（5）Dongdong couldn’t draw, but Peter could.

（6）Dongdong could search for a lot of things on the computer.

第三步：学生读课文，完成Part D的任务。

第四步：听录音，跟读课文。听录音跟读，注意模仿录音中的语音语调。

3. 学习Language points.

（1）buy sb. sth.相当于buy sth. for sb. 意为“为某人买某物”。

如：buy me a computer = buy a computer for me

（2）want to do sth. 意为“想做某事”。

如：He wants to have a party. 他想举办一个派对。

（3）too和also都表示“也”，区别是：too常用于肯定句句末；also常用于肯定句句中。

如：I can email my friends, too.= I can also email my friends.

（4）be good for...意为“对……有好处”。

如：Eating vegetables and fruits is good for us.
