教学过程:
Step1:Pre-reading
T: Hello,boys and girls! Welcome to our English Class! Today we will study a new text. We know that Jenny and Danny come home from Beijing. Here are some pictures from their trip.
Look at picture 1. Guess what is it? It’s at their hotel. It’s near Wangfujing Street.
(设计意图:发散思维,头脑风暴,让学生们畅想图片1,结合所学内容,这到底是个什么、是在哪里?老师逐渐给出一步步的提示,让学生猜到这是什么?由发散到集中。)
T: Look at picture 2. Can you act it out? Half of you are team 1, others of you are team 2.
Let’s have a look, which team can act well. (设计意图:给学生分组,争取在教学过程中起到很好的评价,激励作用,让课堂更加活跃。)
Step 2: Look at picture 3
T:Let’s listen to the text , then tell me what happened in the picture? (设计意图:快速阅读,了解文本大意,找出问题答案。指导学生寻读,泛读。)
Ss :They played with a baby on the train.
T: Yes! Another team, come on!
Now, Look at picture 4.
I want to know more about this picture, for example, what’s wrong with Danny? Why Kim and Steven can’t see Li Ming or Jenny?
Let’s read the text, then answer my questions.
Have a try. Can you read it emotional? Read it in you groups. Then listen to the video, answer question 1,2,5. At last, answer question3,4.
Questions:
1. How many people in the picture?
2.How did they get to the Great Wall?
3. Where did they play with the baby?
4.What happened at the Palace Museum?
5. Where is their hotel?
Step3: Post-reading
The text is over, now here are some exercise, can you find the rules? Can you write more sentences?

T: OK.I will give you some sentences.
It is sunny today. It was rainy yesterday.
Can you show us your sentences on the blackboard?
