教材分析:
本课内容选自人教新目标第14单元Section B(1a-----1e).1a----1e活动通过听说活动拓展单元话题,同时拓展和巩固了目标语言运用。1a----1b活动是听前的预热,话题和内容与听力内容紧密相关。活动1c-----1d主要检测学生对听力材料的理解,并在理解基础上实现信息转换。活动1e要求学生根据所列问题提示准备演讲,主要训练学生的口头表达,巩固所学语言。
学情分析:
本班系偏远山区农村学校九年级学生,经过三年系统英语学习有了较好的学习习惯,基础知识扎实,对英语课堂兴趣浓厚但羞于开口,不善表达。因此本节课为学生提供一个锻炼的舞台。
教学目标:
1.知识目标: 学习degree,manager,go for it等单词,复习be going to ,want to,hope to,look forward to 等句型。
2.能力目标:巩固听力技巧: 听前看图猜大意。 根据所给短文推断细节。 听力中记笔记的技巧。锻炼学生表达能力,培养自信。
3.情感目标:运用演讲任务呼吁学生要做一个感恩的人。
教学重点:
1.巩固听力策略与技巧。
2.锻炼学生语言表达能力。
教学难点:
学生组织语言,口头表达能力不强。
教学方法:
任务型教学法 听说教学法
教学流程:
一.Leading in:
We are going to have a graduation speech. T and Ss discuss what can go into the speech.
设计意图:我们正值毕业季要进行毕业演讲,师生共同讨论演讲内容,使学生明确明确本课活动。
二.Task 1: Sharing the past by answering the questions.
Ss answer the questions by looking at the photos on the PPT and using the key words.
Questions: How have you changed since you started junior high school ?
Who helped you most ,friends,teachers or parents ?
How did they help you ?
Key words: encourage advice teach support care for
设计意图:这些问题延续了Section A 内容,为演讲积累了素材。
三.Task 2: Learning how to talk about the future by listening.
- Pre -listening:
Pairwork between T and Ss . What do you hope to do in the future ?
Pairwork between Ss. I hope to ---
设计意图:听前预热,话题和内容与听力内容紧密相关,降低听力难度。
- While-listening:
Step1: Ss describe the pictures and guess what the hopes are in the conversation .
T’s suggestion : Pay attention to the reason.
设计意图:通过描述1c图片猜出听力大意,缓解听力压力。
Step2: While listening for the first time,Ss tick the right pictures and catch the reasons.
Step3: Ss report the answers and give the reasons.
设计意图:听第一遍抓住文章大意。
Step4: Ss read the passage in 1d and discuss the possible missing words in pairs.T offers help.
设计意图:同学合作推断可能性的答案,激发学生再次听力的欲望。
Step5: Ss listen for the second time and fill in the blanks in 1b.
T’s suggestion: Write down the first letter of each word in order to save the time .
设计意图:提示学生养成听力中记笔记的技巧:用首字母代表对应单词。
Step6: Ss report the answers. T offers help and explains “Go for it”means “work harder for your future”.
设计意图: 英文释义培养学生英语思维方式。
- Post-listening:
Step1: Ss complete the chart above. T and Ss summarize different expressions to talk about the future.
Step2: Ss write down the answers below,not just using hope.T offers help.
Questions:What are you looking forward to ?
What will you do in the future ?
Why?
设计意图:英语丰富多彩,培养学生用不同方式表达思想。
四.Task3. Showing the speech.
Step1.Ss connect the answers and prepare for the speech.
Step2.Ss show their speech to the whole class. T offers help and encourages Ss.
设计意图:展示演讲已达到语言输出的目的,为学生锻炼提供舞台。
五.Homework:
After class,please say “thank you” to your teachers,your friends and parents and give them a hug.
设计意图:课堂活动情感的升华,呼吁学生做一个感恩的人。
