Teaching procedures  教学过程

Step 1 Warm-up

T: We know water, wood, energy and plastic are useful. Let’s match the phrases. (用PPT呈现配对练习)

S: (完成练习)

T: Well done! Now shall we read them together?

S: (大声朗读练习中的句子)

Step 2 Culture time

1. Judge true or false

T: We know a lot about how to protect the Earth. Would you please judge these sentences? (用课件呈现一组句子，让学生判断句子中的行为是否合适)

S: (完成练习)

2. Learn about special days

T: You did a good job. Now most of you know what we should do and what we should not do. So people find special days to tell the world that we need to protect the earth. (用PPT呈现有关世界环境日的图片和内容) Look at the sign. It’s a special day. What is it?

S: World Environment Day.

T: Yes. When is it?

S: It’s on 5th June.

(用PPT依次呈现世界地球日、世界无烟日、世界动物日、植树节、世界水日和世界森林日的图片和文字，引导学生展开问答)

Step 3 Sound time

T: So we may protect our Earth. Make it clean and beautiful. Look, what beautiful pictures! (用PPT呈现图片) It’s autumn. Is it beautiful?

S: Yes.

T: How is the weather?

S: It’s sunny/windy/cool.

T: Look at page 73, Sound time. Who’d like read these words for us?

S: Let me do it. (朗读单词)

T: What are the same letters in the word?

S: Oo.

T: How to pronounce it?

S: /uː/.

T: Can you make a sentence with three or these four words？

S: (按教师要求使用这些句子造句)

T: I have some lovely sentences. First please listen and try to imitate.

S: (学生跟读模仿句子)

T: Who can read nicely for us?

Step 4 Expansion

T: I have more words that contain “oo”. Can you read them and divide them into two groups? Put them in the different boxes.

这是有关Culture time和Sound time的课时，通过配对和判断句子正误的练习，以已学的内容为引入口，既帮助学生复习了相关的句型，也让他们联系生活实际做出正确判断，使教学为生活服务。以以上主要句子为依托，顺利引出保护环境的特殊日子，让学生对两个相似的节日在标识、具体日期等方面进行对比，并配以中文的详细来由，在此基础上，让学生了解其他一些和保护环境相关的节日，说明我们人类现在对环境的重视。

围绕环境保护，以图片为主导，呈现了Sound time的四个含有字母组合oo的单词，并通过让学生造句，发挥想象，充分体现了主观意识和创作意识。在此基础上要求学生熟悉书上的句子，通过反复朗读，从停顿到升降调的指导，细化Sound time部分的教学。朗读模仿增加适量时间。语音的教学需要联系之前所学，所以安排了分类活动，把含有字母组合oo的单词一一罗列进行归纳分类，使学生更好地了解oo在单词中的发音。
