教材分析 | 本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材,《英语3 基础模块》中第三单元的热身(Warming Up)和听说(Listening and Speaking)板块,本单元主题是人工智能,听说部分是汽车制造工厂和智能饭店/餐厅的人工智能应用的场景,学生通过完成听说任务,掌握表达赞同与反对的词汇句型,并能将其迁移到真实语境中。培养思维差异感知能力和职场语言沟通能力。 | ||||
学情分析 | 学生在基础模块2 unit7 中已学习了物联网、智能家居等方面的英语表达,具备基本的网络和计算机应用场景表达能力,并且对未来科技感兴趣。本单以人工智能为话题,涉及的人工智能的相关英文表达更多,也更系统。学生需在听说活动中主动学习,结合真实情境练习语言输出,掌握对人工智能表示赞同和反对的语言表达。辩证地看待科技发展带来的影响,培养职场语言沟通能力,思维差异感知能力和跨文化交际能力。 | ||||

Step 2: Warming up
|
1)Present the pictures and phrases.Give some explanation about some new words.(pay attention to the pronunciation) Match them with the right pictures. 2)Introduce the scenes in English: I have ever seen robots putting car parts together in a car factory. We often use mobile payment nowadays. Assembly line is an example that AI is used. In big cities ,robots serve the customers very well in the restaurants.
1)Read the sentences and tick those which are cons.Give more pros and cons to divide . You are right./I couldn’t agree more./I don’t agree with you./I am not sure that’s correct. 2) Show some opinions for students to express pros and cons. Artificial intelligence will take the place of human beings. Mobile payment is more convenient than cash payment. Students shouldn’t take mobile phone to school.

Introduce the scenes in English simply to your partner and practise the sentences.
Tick the cons and get more expression about pros and cons.

Step 3: Listening
|
Before playing the listening, ask students to read the information and know the differences between them,then listen again to get the main idea about the dialogue .(Pay attention to the detailed information in the dialogue)
Look at the pictures and describe the scenes. Then play the listening and make the choice. 1)We can see a man is checking something in the car. 2)We can see robots putting different parts of a car together on the assembly line. 3)We can see robots are serving the customers. 4)We can see the robots are working as chefs and waiters.
Before listening, let students read the text and know what they should get while listening .Then play the listening to get the key words to fill in the blanks and check their answers.

Step 4: Dialogue learning |
Listen to the recording. Read the dialogue after the recording to underline the sentences. Then check the answers.
Analyze the important words and phrases of the dialogue:assembly line,tour,screen factory,put ... together,to be honest,efficiency,in terms of.

Step 5: Speaking | 1.Imitate and talk. 1)Read the given sentences and the two kinds of robots to practise dialogue with partners. Know how to introduce the robots and express pros and cons. 2)Make own dialogue and express real pros and cons we have to enrich it,then act it out in front of the class. 3)Teacher gives some advice and corrects mistakes.
