课 题Unit 3 Artificial Intelligence(Reading and writing)课 型Reading and writing课 时2授课班级 授课时间90mins授课教师 教材分析本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材,《英语3 基础模块》中第三单元的阅读和写作(Reading and writing)板块,本阅读语料为讨论人工智能应用的优缺点的议论文,在阅读部分要求学生能读懂有关人工智能应用的优缺点,了解议论文的行文结构,学会区分事实和观点,进行开放性思考讨论,培养阅读能力。在写作部分,就一些科技产品发表观点,提升学生的职场语言沟通能力,培养学生的跨文化意识和思维素养。学情分析经过前两节课听说的学习,学生对人工作智能有一定的了解,并能表达赞同与不赞同的观点,但学生还不能辩证的看待人工智能领域对人类生活的影响。通过阅读,了解人工智能的优缺点,引发思考和判断,区分观点和事实,进一步培养概括、对比、分析关键信息的阅读能力。学生对议论文的写作,不了解其具体的文体结构,需通过任务教学,使学生能够使用恰当的词汇和句型完成对科技产品的描述,并在议论文中辩证地表达观点,夯实语言基础,培养学生的逻辑表达能力。学习目标Knowledge objectives:To learn words and phrases: thanks to,in every way,hold a ...attitude towards,obvious benefits,take...as an example,bring great effort to ,free,perform,on the other hand,depend on.To be able to understand the long sentence: Whether it is a good thing or a bad thing depends on how people use it. Play a video to tell the students what AI devices are used in our life. Think and tick:Which of the following is AI now applied in ?Do you know more about the application to tell more?Addition:intelligent robot,mobile payment,face recognition,doctors perform long-distance operations through 5G technology,intelligent communication,intelligent management Students finish the task in group and show their results. Read and describe.Fill in the description the pictures about the audio book according to the given expressions.Know the advantages and disadvantages of audio book and how to use it as a tool rather than controlled by it.Ask a student to check his/her work and correct the mistakes. 2.Write and practice.1)Read the given information and know what they should write .Then choose one person to recommend a book listening app he/she is using.2)Finish the argumentative writing according to the information in task 14.Ask two students to show their works on the screen.Teacher gives some advice and corrects mistakes.Describe the audio book by the given expressions and know its advantages and disadvantages. Read and prepare for the writing by the information given in task 14 and the frame.
