本单元的写作任务是写一封推荐信，推荐信是向收信人推荐人或事物的书信。写推荐信应该注意以下几点：
1．说明被推荐者的基本情况。推荐人时，应包括姓名、性别、年龄、业务水平、工作能力、身体状况等；推荐某物品、地方或去处时，应包含具体位置、如何到达、服务水平、用途、特点等。
2．说明推荐的理由。要求写得具体、充分，如实地介绍优点，客观地叙述理由。
3．时态以一般现在时为主。结构上，推荐信一般采用三段式：
第一段：说明写信的目的和要推荐的内容。
第二段：介绍被推荐人或物及其推荐理由。
第三段：总结，表达愿望。
