探究二： 知识点解读

1.stick   v. 粘贴; 将…刺入 (stuck, stuck)

stick to 意为“坚持；忠于；遵守”，本短语由“动词+介词”构成，后跟名词或相当于名词的词；后若跟动词，只能跟动名词形式。

     ①“人+depend on”意为“依赖；依靠”。

3.make sb. do sth. 意为“让\使某人做某事”。其中make 用作使役动词，意为“使\让\叫……”。make还可以用于“make+宾语+形容词（宾补）”结构中，意为“使某人（物）……”。

使役动词后面直接跟动词原形，表示“让、使……”。如：have;let;leave;keep;get.

4.shut off   意为“关闭；停止运转”，常用于关闭电器或切断煤气、水等。而turn off 关（自来水、电灯、收音机等）

5.too … to…意为“太……而不能……”，too为副词，后跟形容词或副词，to为动词不定式符号，后跟动词原形。注意：  too….to…结构可以和so…that…(如此……以至于)句型转换。

too…to…结构可以与not… enough to…结构互换，但not 后面的形容词\副词是too 后形容词\副词的反义词。

  6.alone:当作形容词时表示“单独的；独自的”，当作副词表示“单独地；  独自地”，侧重说明独自一人，没有同伴，指客观状况。用作形容词时，一般与be动词连用，在句中作表语；作副词修饰动词，放在动词后面作状语。

lonely:作形容词，指心灵上的孤独，侧重主观感受，可作定语或表语。用于描述地点时，意为“荒凉的”。
