【教学目标】
1.帮助学生欣赏故事《亨利的新朋友》。通过看图回答问题、判断正误等阅读反馈活动,引导学生通过阅读抓住关键信息,了解故事大意。
2.通过Make and say的活动,帮助学生复习和巩固本单元的核心句型。
3.帮助学生学习字母组合ph,wh在单词中的发音。
4.通过学习任务,帮助学生巩固和综合运用本单元所学的知识和技能。

【教学过程】
Pre-task preparations
1.打开手电筒,请一个学生上来对着手电筒的光做手势,介绍在墙壁上的手影。
S1: Look at my shadow. It's a rabbit.
S2: Look at my shadow. It's a dog.
2.用手电筒演绎太阳升起和落下的过程,引出shadow的变化。
T: It's morning. The sun rises, (move the torch) Look, children! There's a shadow under the tree. The shadow is in front of the tree. It's long. (write shadow—long) It's noon now. (move the torch) Now, the tree's shadow is short and small. (write shadow— short and small on the board) It's evening. The sun goes down. (move the torch) The tree's shadow is long again. (write shadow —long)
3.然后再次演绎,请学生说说shadow的变化。
T: (move the torch to make a long shadow)
S1: The tree's shadow is long.
T: (move the torch to make a short shadow)
S2: The tree's shadow is short and small.
T: (move the torch to make a long shadow again)
S3: The tree's shadow is long again.
4.也可以把挂图贴在黑板上,让学生看图,根据提示句型说一说树的影子变化。
S1: In the morning, the sun rises. The shadow is long.
While-task procedures
1.和学生谈论影子。在多媒体或黑板上出示晴天、雨天、雪天、阴天四张图片。分别指着其中的一张图片和学生对话,最后总结。
T: (point at the picture of a sunny day) It's a sunny day. Can you see your shadow?
S1: Yes. I can see my shadow on a sunny day.
T: (point at the picture of a rainy day) It's a rainy day. Can you see your shadow?
S1: No. I can't see my shadow on a rainy day.
T: (point at the picture of snowy day) It's a snowy day. Can you see your shadow?
S1: No, I can't see my shadow on a snowy day.
T: (point at the picture of a cloudy day) It's a cloudy day. Can you see your shadow?
S1: No. I can't see my shadow on a cloudy day.
T: We can see our shadows on a sunny day. We can see our shadows when there's light.
和学生对话引出课文:Henry is a little dog. And he likes playing with his new friend. 请学生仔细读课文。
2.出示故事Henry the dog的挂图或播放动画,请学生根据图片回答问题,检测学生是否理解课文。
(1)What does Henry do on a beautiful sunny day? (He takes a walk.)
(2)What does Henry see? (He sees a black shape.)
(3)How does Henry feel? (He is afraid.)
(4)What does Henry do then? (He runs.)
(5)What is the black shape? (It's Henry's shadow.)
(6)Does Henry like his shadow? (Yes, he does.)
3.让学生读故事,然后完成反馈练习。

4.在黑板上板书故事中的生词him和stop,请学生跟读,然后创设情景请同学运用这些生词。

然后播放录音,请学生跟着录音逐句跟读。要求学生模仿录音中的语音语调。
5.请学生拿出根据Make and say栏目预先准备好的树、山的图片和手电筒进行对子活动。一个学生发出指令,另一个学生根据指令演绎太阳升起和落下的过程。
S1: It's morning. The sun rises.
S2: (move the torch accordingly) Look at the tree. Its shadow is long.
S1: It's noon. The sun is high in the sky.
S2: (move the torch accordingly) Look at the tree's shadow. It's short.
S1: It's evening. The sun goes down.
S2: (move the torch accordingly) The tree's shadow is long again.
6.出示Learn the sounds的语音单词卡片ph (photo), wh (whale),请学生跟读单词并感知ph和wh在单词中的发音。
T: ph, /f /, photo, photo.
Ss: ph, /f/, photo, photo.
T: wh, /w/, whale, whale.
Ss: wh, /w/, whale, whale.
7.然后,教师播放Learn the sounds的儿歌录音,请学生模仿录音朗读儿歌。鼓励学生模仿录音中的语音语调。
Post-task activities
1.出示Enjoy a story的挂图,在每张图旁边写一些关键词,请学生一起复述故事。

Picture 6: new friend
2.请学生看《练习册》Task的第一部分,在画框中贴或画一张学校主教学大楼的图片,根据大楼影子在一天中不同时间的变化,与同学互相问答。

S2: I can see the sun.
S1: How's the block's shadow? Is it short or long?
S2: It's long.
3.然后让学生完成第二部分的写作练习,写一写学校主教学大楼的影子在早晨、中午和下午这三个时段的变化。
