【教学目标】
1.通过Enjoy a story的故事阅读,帮助学生进一步巩固和运用句型。
2.帮助学生学习字母组合ff在单词中的发音。
3.通过学习任务(Task),帮助学生巩固和综合运用本单元所学的知识和技能。
【教学重难点】

【教学过程】
I. Pre-task preparations
1.播放一首与单元话题相关的歌曲,如:
This is the way I wash my face.
This is the way I wash my face.
Wash my face,
Wash my face,
This is the way I wash my face,
At six o'clock in the morning.
This is the way I eat my lunch,
Eat my lunch,
Eat my lunch,
This is the way I eat my lunch,
At half past one in the afternoon.
让学生先听,然后跟唱。鼓励学生边唱边做相应的动作。
2.把挂图贴在黑板上,让学生用...at... (time)说说Ben在什么时间做什么事情。
S1: Ben gets up at six o'clock.
S2: He goes to school at eight o'clock.
II. While-task procedures
1.出示图片,对每一张图片进行提问,帮助学生初步了解故事大意。然后播放多媒体动画,根据内容问几个与故事情节相关的问题,检验学生对故事的理解程度。

(1)What do Min and Mog say to each other? (Min says, “Good evening, Mog!” Mog says, “Good evening, Min.”)
(2)What time do they get up in the evening? (They get up at seven o'clock in the evening.)
(3)What do they do at seven o'clock in the evening? (They get up at seven o'clock in the evening.)

(1)How does the fish taste? (It's wonderful!)
(2)What time do they have dinner? (They have dinner at half past seven.)
(3)What do they do at half past seven? (They have dinner at half past seven.)

(1)What time do they start to work? (They start to work at eight o'clock.)
(2)What do they do? (They catch mice.)

(1)What time do they go to bed in the morning? (They go to bed at six o'clock in the morning.)
(2)What do they do at six o'clock in the morning? (They go to bed at six o'clock in the morning.)
让学生体会 wonderful, usually, start to work, catch mice的含义,请学生跟读这些词汇。
2.出示故事图片和文字,让学生根据故事情节为图片排序,并将相应的句子和图片配对。或者发给学生Min和Mog的作息表,让学生填空完成表格。之后请学生三人一组表演对话,两个学生扮演Min和Mog,另一个学生扮演其他动物,表演对话。教师可以先示范。
T: (put on a black cat mask) What time do you get up, Min?
S1: (put on a white cat mask) I get up at seven o'clock in the evening.
...
然后播放录音,让学生模仿朗读故事。
3.把挂图贴在黑板上。在每张图旁边写出关键词汇,鼓励学生用自己的话说出故事大意。如果学生有困难,教师可以给予提示或允许学生看故事文字。

Picture 3: start to work, eight o'clock, catch mice, afraid
Picture 4: go to bed, six o'clock, in the morning.
在学生对故事内容和语句熟悉后,可以播放多媒体动画或出示图片,让学生以配音的方式讲故事。
4.出示Learn the sounds的语音单词卡片ff (turn off, take off),请学生跟读并感知ff的发音。
T: ff /f/ turn off, take off.
Ss: ff /f/ turn off, take off.
5.出示更多包含字母组合ff的单词,让学生试着念一念。如:office, fluffy,giraffe, coffee。
6.播放Learn the sounds的儿歌录音。请学生模仿录音朗读儿歌。鼓励学生模仿录音中的语音语调。
III. Post-task activities
1.学生三人一组表演Enjoy a story的课本剧。鼓励学生改编故事内容,用尽可能多的相关语言来改编,教师要给予学生必要的帮助,可参考以下的剧本。最后,邀请个别小组上来表演故事,请全班学生评选表演得最好的一组。

S1: Fine, thanks. I sleep very well. What time is it?
S2: It's seven o'clock in the evening.
S1: Oh! It's time to get up.

S1: (act as Min) OK. How does the fish taste?
S2: It's wonderful.

如果学生能力许可,还可以根据Min and Mog的故事自编一个以其他动物(如:两只小狗)为主角的故事,三人一组进行小组活动,编完后口头表述。
2.请学生看《练习册》Task的第一部分。学生先和一两个朋友对话,了解他们周日的作息时间。
S1: What do you do in the morning?
S2: I play basketball.
S1: What time do you get up?
...
3.然后让学生根据问答结果完成第二部分的表格。最后让学生根据表格完成第三部分的写作练习,写一写某个朋友周日的活动安排。
